  3. as much as i love linux on Ready or Not, Here comes Windows XP SP2 · · Score: 1

Sp2 was a good thing, the machine im currently running on, is a compaq presario 2286, with a 250mhz cyrix mII processor, granted its now using a K6-2+ and ive recently overclocked it, and the fact that ive upped the ram to 252 mb, but all in all, the fact that sp2 requires less processor power is a great thing for me, so what if the firewall breaks shit, dont most of us use things like zonealarm or other third party firewalls anyway, so why cant we just turn off windows firewall? i mean sure, programs got broken, but then again, people should update, or usually anyway.

  4. Close but no cigar! on Popcorn-Popper -> Coffee Roaster Mod · · Score: 1

This is a nice start, but seeing as the page was created two years ago, I wonder if hes updated it to actually brew the coffee too? Then all I'd need to do is have it add my cup of sugar, and a bit of creamer, and I'd be good.

How long will it take them to figure out how to actually use this sixth sense, and its application to deathmatching? Until then im not interested in merely knowing it exists.

  7. Re:It's about parents on DC Could Ban 'Mature' Video Game Sales to Minors · · Score: 1

Exactly! wasnt this the whole point of the ESRB anyway? Now the parents will actually sit up and take notice! I mean it isnt like they dont advertise the ratings system itself as well as putting the ratings on the comercials before its even shown. Its just one more step in making the ESRB into what it should be. It is a very effective system save for a few broken parts, store participation, and parental knowledge. It is already enforced at gamestop, and walmart, so how will this change anything? All ive ever had to do is have a parent present at time of purchase, my mom rarely even asks what it is! As much as i would like this freedom to continue, it would be nice to have an educated mom.
