  2. No real increase for firefox... on Microsoft IE Browser Share Dips Below 50% · · Score: 5, Insightful

Firefox has been around 30% for the last year, while IE dropped 10% in the same time, and Chrome gained 10%.

If this trend continues then it might balance out at 30/30/30/10 for IE/Firefox/Chrome/Other. Which should be good for everyone I think. There is no holy browser (except lynx), so a good balance of users should make sites more standard compliant in the end.

(Not all homebrew installs are for piracy, but a lot are) Yes, piracy happens, but only in a small amount. And the Wii is ridiculously easy to hack.

While people can say that the old ddraw works fine in Win7, that's all nice and everything. But sometimes we want more then just the old school graphics and gameplay. In this case we can hack the ddraw layer to add extra features like a higher resolution, AA or HQ2x or something like that.

I tried to do this with Direct3D7 for TheTypingOfTheDead, to run it at higher resolutions, but I failed. Maybe if I use this code as base I have a better shot at it.

GPL is made for C programs running on something you own. The cases of interpreted code, and code running on a webserver hosting services are not covered in it. So I can customize wordpress, run it on my own server, and nobody has any right to get the source then. Except for myself.

What ever happened to eyes and intuition? If one way streets confuse you as a driver, you shouldn't be driving and are a menace to society. If you look up directions to somewhere, and upon actually driving there you realize that the area is all one ways, doesn't intuition tell you that you might have to actually drive an extra block or two so that you can make your way back to your destination without driving the wrong way? Personally, I would think the big signs that say ONE WAY and have a large arrow pointing in the direction of traffic would be enough, but apparently people are too glued to their navigation screen to bother actually looking at the world around them.

I dare you finding this route:
