Thanks, Paul. Hopefully the cat will submit some voxel.js modules and get on Github soon!
I'm definitely interested in the real-world data application that you explained in your comment. Some of the new fellows this year at Code for America are working on importing Open Street Map data into Voxel.js as a matter of fact. One idea I had was an app to let kids design and add voxel trees (or other public objects) to their city/neighborhood.
Sorry about this, in that demo we are using a few very computationally expensive functions to generate the world. The problem you experienced can be solved through the user of HTML5 Web Workers but we have not yet implemented them at this time.
Someone else called me out on that as well, my response was:
"Sorry about the tone, I definitely could have said that part more nicely. To me Java smells like too many abstract interfaces, lots of boilerplate and hard to use build tools. Java was the first language I learned so I may very well be scarred from the experience."

Maybe they'll design a new PVP system for UO. WoW's is still in it's infancy, and a good PVP game would definitely make me switch.
Besides, it seems that PVP is all that Mythic is good at. Their PVE leaves more to be desired.
Everyone knows terrorists from around the world trained thousands of dolphins, sent them to the gulf of mexico, and had them start swimming in a massive circular motion, thus creating Katrina.
To prevent this from happening in the future, we just have to go into North Korea and Iran and bomb them into submission. Once we're done with that, we can remove their dictator and put in a puppet government.
Just hire a hotel heiress to stand on a desk during your meeting and spin around while wearing scantily clad clothing (if any). Put it in a commercial, and profit!

I love freegeek, just this weekend there was a car parked out front with the liscense plate '1337'.
JF: Naming projects is often the hardest part. When I first started, it just came out. A moment of either stupidity (likely) or brilliance (not likely), we'll see.
Yeah, its obviously hard for him, with names like Cockos, AssSniffer, and Jesusonic.
Are there any AP-Gaming clubs/organizations?

Is there a 'main site' which possibly lists AP events going on around the country? I'm wondering if there are enough people who already partake in these events locally so that I could contact them instead of trying to pioneer the effort myself.

I agree. If you look more closely you will see that many of the modules associated with the project are in fact very generic.

Hi, I'm the Max mentioned above. Here is a post I did yesterday with more background details on the project: http://maxogden.com/bringing-minecraft-style-games-to-the-open-web.html
