As a recording engineer of 35+ years who has used both Macs and Linux since their respective day ones, no, audio is not where it's happening on Linux. Audio on Linux does not come remotely close to even being is the same star system as audio on the Mac.
That isn't/really/ what the whole of the discussion is about, and the cost of actually owning real estate in SF is beyond ridiculous at this point. It would require a little more than a loan from your family to afford it.
Also, on this 'side of the pond' it requires a good deal more than just having the deposit to get a mortgage lender to lend you money.
1.6 billion has been approved for a three year period. Out of that, 216 million has currently been spent. Where are you getting 30-50 billion out of that?
