Sure, but when you're opening a new tab, you're more than likely going to be typing in an address, so you're hands would already be on the keyboard. Your handing may differ, but for me it's my palm on Ctrl and my index/middle finger on T, so it's more like one keypress. Also (considering Fitts's Law) it's probably easier to do that than move the mouse to a 30ish pixel^2 button.

But then again I know that it's hard to change interfaces when you're used to the older one. In fact I used to have that button too. But I also extremely dislike the new "awesomebar".

Here's my skin/layout just for info. It's a custom Stylish stylesheet (smoother than image shows), but if you're interested I can send it.

I hope they didn't ban Wikipedia completely, as in disallowing access to the site. Yes, it's very stupid to use Wikipedia as a direct source, but Wikipedia can and should be used much like encyclopedias, Google, and research databases are. You would never cite those themselves, but rather cite the sources that they get the information from.

He was making the point that without the experience garnered by the use of the copied software, his friend never would have ended up purchasing it (I'm assuming that he did). It's the same with Photoshop: Many students learn the Photoshop environment by pirating it, to later purchase it when they have the money. Most students are not be able to pay $649 for the standalone version of Photoshop, let alone $1199+ for the Creative Suite bundles, so Adobe almost seems to turn a blind eye to the piracy of its software because it knows that it is gaining future customers.

As a side note, copyright infringement is not theft. They are two legally different things.

Where do you get "wear" numbers? I've worn the pants that I'm wearing now for at least four years without having them fade or rip. Maybe you wash them too hard or too often. I'm one of those people who wear pants more than once between washes, mainly to save the energy and water used by washing them. I'm in fact very hygienic, but I just don't see the need to wash my pants unless I sweat heavily or get something on them. So according to my calculator, if I've worn these pants say every four days for four years, that's 365 wears right there.
