here's my entire songbird experience:
Double clicked the icon
selected language
songbird downloaded "some extension"
songbird displays "Songbird example extension 0.1 is not compatible with songbird"
songbird quits...that's stupid
iTunes has already done this you know. Finding music on it is a lot easier than on gnutella or any of the other warez networks, but even more importantly when you buy the song you instantly get a fast download of a high quality song instead of waiting in queue for way too long for a file you have now idea of the quality
oh.. and stop being so cynical. I know you guys hate drm. So do I but the posts "translating" the positive statements to something else entirely are just IDIOTIC...stop it, they deserve the benefit of doubt
Here's the thing... You know when your friends bumps into you or something, you say hey! what was that about? and then move on (or maybe you don't even say a thing). Now let's say that fucking idiot that has been bothering you for years does the same, you do something more, might even strike back but one thing is for sure, you'd get angry at him
Steve ain't god, but I can understand slashdotters cutting him more slack than for example mr. gates or an riaa exec....
