    This isn't the wild wild internet anymore. Domain names are highly regulated legal holdings. When things turn sour you have few choices aside from getting lawyers involved. If you have _any_ problems with your domain names and can't afford a lawyer, then you can't afford the domain.

    Its the american way.

    Yes, it is default behavior and is often adhered to quite well. However, when trains are overloaded and people have no idea when they'll be able to get on people tend to lose interest in politeness.

    It does happen with phone numbers, its just hard to be purposeful about it.

    Gay marriage, regardless of what you think of it, hasn't been codified as a right

    there is no significant difference between straight marriage and gay marriage. they are both simply marriage. therefore, the rights given straight marraige apply to gay marraige as well.

    if you think the debate is new, go back a few years and see what was being said about interracial marriage.

    A tool known as Vanishing Point will allow the user to recolor and transform objects in an image without altering its perspective.

    Maybe its just me, but I've never had a problem with the perspective on an object while I was modifying the color. Now, if I'm using the transform function, I probably do want to alter the perspective.

    What does this tool do again?

    Do not be pulled into the polarizing arguments. Things are of many shades of gray, there is no black or white.

    Do not avoid polarizing arguments merely because they are polarizing. Rarely are things black and white, but sometimes they are close. We gain nothing by confounding differences.

    (It seems to have become a common habit for newscasters to soften the sins of one political party by saying "the other would have done this as well, had they been in power." Which only serves to make it appear as though all have the same sins.)

    However, during the civil war (and, arguably, during WWII w.r.t. Japanese internment) Habeas Corpus was suspended outright. Was this a problem? Yes. Was it the end of everything? No.

    Everything? I guess not. But it was VERY BAD if you were japanese and you were placed in internment.

    Also, we won WWII. You can't "win" a war on terrorism - there will always be terrorists.
