Just had to say your signature should be insightful to many and I total agree with the statement.

To bad it was written by anonymous coward because I found the joke hilarious and wanted to give props to the author. Also reply to the parent: the cluster all wearing the same sunglasses reminds me of the multiple Mr. Smiths in the Matrix trilogy.

  3. Yeah Right on Harvard Pres Says Females Naturally Bad at Math · · Score: 1

First off I did not RTFA and will not RTFA because there is emphasis on the FUCKING in RTFA of this particular article. I am male and was in accelerated math class since 7th grade. I found there were roughly the equal ratio of male to female students in the classes with slightly more males but the females had higher average scores. If my extremely limited samle is the norm it would prove that men (as a group) are better at math than women (as a group) but women that are good at math are normally better at math than men who are good at math. I know the the age at which women mature versus men has more to do with this than anything else in middle and high school (at least in US public schools) by looking statistics that show higher grade average and more female validictorians. I look froward towards peer review like another responder and agree econmics professors can be dumb...I took 3 econ classes in college all with the same professor that added 2+2=5 on the black board one day. We he woke me up to answer a question, I questioned his math and his reply was that he is not a math professor. This, my firends, is where polticians find fuzzy math.

True curiosity requires me to ask what gramar rules define data as plural? I have to agree with http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=data where it list usage as singular as a set. Much like the herd is grazing rather than the herd are grazing because it is a single set of animals. This is a singular term describing a plural item.

The article was posted on Monday and was sent out to those who subscribe to the FREE e-mail newsletter. This not intent as flamebait or a troll so please don't reply with fames; I just wanted to vent and the fact that thissite is usually GREAT at supplying up to the minute information. I guess I'm just upset that I went to the link expect new information and got disappointed with the same article I read Monday.

It can be a little more complicated with things like stock options, profit sharing, 401(k) if not vested, etc. If you are fired you stand to lose all these things plus they company can legal disclose you were fired when you look for another job. Resigning or quiting is the easy out that allows you to leave the company without admitting any wrong doing...basicly it is a like a Nolo plea in court.

I always thought I had been doing too much gaming when I started dreaming the games. I guess have it leak into "real life" is one step beyond where I consider too much and time for a break.

I have ask because I do not know and am curious...What would have happened if you had gone through a publisher that retains rights (like the RIAA and their publisher own the rights not the artist) and the school paid the publisher for the rights, would you be guaranteed payment. The major problem I have with the RIAA and their ilk is lack of compensation the artist receives for their work.
