Microsoft has, in my opinion, a long, long history of not allowing their programmers to finish their jobs. There were even security vulnerabilities in the Microsoft Help protocols!
I clearly remember using a security flaw in Excel (XP or 2003 I believe) running on Windows XP to run programs with adminstrator rights on locked down system. When IT found what we were doing they monitored our systems but were unable to prevent us from using this trick. We used this trick to install software for our PDAs and sales tool software from our vendors because to get any software install through IT require a request going through corporate channels and a minimum of two weeks before it was installed.
I have to agree with you. I have often said that religion is bad because of the evil done in the name of religion but this does not mean that belief in a god or faith is necessarily bad.
Power corrupts and the religious leaders hold a lot of power over their followers.

You could always scan it and convert with OCR. If you kept the font the same and length relatively the same, they would probably never notice you returned a different NDA that you had modified to meet your desires. I have refused to sign a non-compete in the past. I have never been presented with an NDA that was valid for more than 60 days so have not had a issue signing them.
I read the article twice and saw no reason to think it it not have the limits at home. In fact the restriction is in the software not the cafes so it appears to restrict regardless of location.
BUSlink 64GB flash drive part#BDP2-64G-U2 is available now with a retail price of $4,999. I checked stock before posting and there are 5 currently in stock available for drop ship from California.
The Kanguru 64GB flash drive part#KFDM-64G is priced under $3,000 but their ETA has been pushed back again to April 1.
I followed your link and say nothing about her or Ted Stevens. Mind providing an abstract or correcting the link so we know about the incident you mention.
Yes, "Counter Hacker" would be more approriate. The article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shawn_Carpenter provides some detail and it appears it traced the hackers and hacked the server they were coming from.
You reply missed a point. Several members of DoD where employees of the software companys adirectly leaked the software to DoD. The software was not simply given to college students that leaked it.
I read the entire back and forth and just wanted to add my input even though my karma has somehow turned bad. I think that the saying of power corrupts is very true here. The corruption has always been around and it is done by those in power. Decadence like during the heyday of the Roman Empire or the recent dotcom bubble also lead to the corruption and the media coverage makes it more obvious.
"The fire has been burning since the world's been turning..." Like a fire it flares up from time to time and reduces to embers but its a cycle and keeps on going.
I did RTFA and several of the comments and noticed one interesting thing. Microsoft wants it boths ways because they want every system builder (disclosure:I work at a sysyem builder and regional distributor) to preload a 60 day trial of Office 2007 of every new system with Vista.
The licensing skus are out effective today. Now the media kits probably won't be available until the Nov. 30 release date, this does mean the paper (aka artifical) release date is today. I received notice from D&H about this today and downloaded the MOLPERP pricelist from Microsoft to confirm this. If you want to get the file I mentioned, it is available at https://partner.microsoft.com/download/US/40018463. You may need to be a Microsoft registered partner to access the file.
I can see people buying this, downloading a copy of Chernobyl (or some other virus that causes hardware damage by rewriting the BIOS), and getting their old PCs replace be Chernobyl can not be removed once it rewrites the BIOS on old motherboards that have a single surface mounted flash ROM. I be the EULA has all kinds of outs written it it.
Fare thee well and do not take the above as a suggestion as if the can prove you did it yourself you will go to jail for fraud.
You are right an if I wasn't sick I might have better phrased my earlier post to state that the masses gladly give up their freedoms for the illusion of or temporary safety.
Saftey and freedom like security and ease of use (accessablity) are often a tradeoff and we must find a balance that doesn't slide to far to either extreme. Note the use of the word often as I have to disagree with your statement that they are always a tradeoff. They are types of safety equipment (helments and bullet proof vest for example) that do not limit freedom. Those examples are rare as most limit freedom of movement or some other freedom but never say never as in America it is the exception that proves the rule.
The great masses would glad give up freedom for security but in the immortal words of Benjamin Franklin, "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
Need I say more...
I believe that everything we experience affects but we are not lemmings. We do have free will and determine how it affects us. Two people could watch the same violence with one becoming a crazed serial killer and the other becoming a pacifistic monk.
I still love the magazine ad they made for Carmageddon where you a car brutally mowing down a pedistrean and it said something to the effect that playing this game can reduce violence because it is a healthy outlet for rage and violence rather than committing the real acts.

Some people may believe that but I personally believe differently and think most people's beliefs are closer to mind than that statement. The belief of which I speak is:

Someone's (I can remember who's) signature seems very appropriate in response to the parent: "Those who cast votes decide nothing; those who count the votes decide everything." Josef Stalin
This is where as a relative youngster (29) I get it yell "We din't start the fire; its been burning since the world's been truning." The fire I refer to here is corruption and has existed for at least several generations and I'm afraid the only way to remove (however briefly) is a little revolution. Hell, Thomas Jefferson said, "We need a little revolution every seven years." The closest thing to a revolution of the people in recent history was the 60s but the corporate revolution of the 80s is probably the most recent revolution in America.

Your comment may be true for most people but I would pay at least $10 more per month to have a home phone instead of a cell phone. Why would I even consider giving up the freedom of mobility AND pay more money. I admit I am in a very small minority because I am grandfathered on an Employee Rate Plan that expires when my contract expires...btw, I don't have a contract.
I agree what our overcrowded jails are to filled with nonviolent "criminals". I get 100s spams a day myself but most of them a nicely filtered away only consuming bandwith and not my time but still I am affected by spam in a very real way. I have switched to web based mail primarily just to avoid my bandwith being used on this spam.
We need to stop spam by stopping the money no sending a few spammers to jail. Spammers are like a hydra with many heads you can cutoff only to watch them regrow; we need to kill the body (those that pay the spammers.) I support laws hold the companies that pay spammers responsible.
And again a case for the seperation of OS and applications as stated above.
I hate Microsoft for the following reasons:
Buggy software
Unethical business practices
Its forcefed in soo many instances
Bill Gates is an asshole and yes I have met him and speak from personal experience.

How is the parent offtopic? A smartass yes but offtopic?
Only my failing memory...
Service Pack 3 is generally after the next version is out historicly unless I am mistaken and usually the final service pack.
Don't forget there is a patch for internet addiction. Just download it at....
How is the parent offtopic? It talks about how things can be still hidden.
