    I interviewed at SCO (The Santa Cruz Operation) once. Showed up in a 3 piece suit. They looked me up and down, and said, "You're not going to fit in here!" My gf at one time worked there; said her Marketing Department manager used to keep his pot in the company freezer (back when it was still very illegal). Of course, they went down the tubes a couple years later anyway.

    Who buys a $2000 gaming monitor when you can get a much bigger 4K TV for half that? Granted, the only screen it makes sense to curve is a gaming monitor screen, since one generally sits much closer to it.

    Yeah, my Metformin went from $10/month to $400/month. Why? The new prescription was "extended release". Same exact drug, but making it dissolve slowly is PATENTABLE!

    EpiPens are not already generic because every time you change the delivery mechanism, you restart the patent timer. Yeah, they made a minor change to the mechanism to keep it patentable. How that prevents competitors from using the old mechanism is beyond me.

    What do I need to do to get residency in NZ so I can buy a house there? Are they hiring any Firmware Engineers? I know I need to work there at least 2 years to qualify for medical assistance.

  23. I've lived in Alaska and been outside in -60F weather. Trust me, anything lower than -20F feels the same, although at -60F it's easier to tell where the thin spots in your parka are. (My asshole dad told me, "We're wasting heat here, go outside and bank up the house with snow to insulate it!" So I did. Facemask is mandatory at -60F.)

  25. Nope. I got a robocall from "+1 1000000" today. Nice of them to be so OBVIOUS about their caller ID spoofing, so I immediately sent it to voicemail. They didn't leave any message.
