i know what dual booting and virtualisation is, what im saying is, in most cases, if vmware isnt good enough, just run the two or more operating systems seperatly
if vmware/qemu/Bochs/virtual pc, isnt good enough for the speed you need, just dual boot the OS's or if you want many servers on one machine, both IIS and Apache offer virtual hosts...
AI by definition has the ability to learn for its self, what we have here is just a large database of human input, nothing that OpenCyc has found for its self.
hollywood have a generic script for each genre, with 5 interchangable twists. whenever they want a new movie for a new genre, they randomize 3 of the twists, place them into generic scripts, randomise the names in the script... and then production begins of "Yet Another Hollywood Movie"
this was in IE7 Beta2, i know, as i used it. its just a simple xml standard that allows anyone to create an xml file that descripts their search engine and its capibilitys and how to use them.. and IE7 adds it to its engine list. and it also allows you to set ANY as the default engine.
Sky have a method that CAN be broke, but, they thought of that. to watch encrypted content (stuff you need to pay for to watch), your sky box requires a phoneline, where sky send new encryption codes every 3 mins, which your box uses to decode the info being sent to it via the satalite.
so, when you break the encryption, and flash a homebrew sky card with the codes, they expire after a few mins anyway, and you need to do this all over again.
she doesnt really care that its a 19 year old, she just sees it as easy money... this is how easy it is in todays americanised "sue everyone for looking at you funny" culture
for all the zealots with "fix windows first"... i have this for you:
the reason you see the bugs in windows, is because it has a VAST majority of the market. so you see it more. linux as a kernel has more bugs in it than the whole of windows, you just dont see them, because linux is a very small part of the world comparitivly.
bitch nothing... dell get intel chips for almost nothing, and microsoft practicaly pay them to sell windows with their pc's... its called a partnership
the "bog-standard 32-bit PC hardware" is a bit optimistic. it would be more like a pc with SSE2 support at least with some features needing SSE3 to work as they should since that is what the hacked versions of osx86 require now.
hmmn, i clicked the link with an unpatched IE, nothing happened... i wonder why that would be, ohh, because i know how to use the WWW. i have my popup blocker on high....
they dont actualy want the xbox360 pulled, they want microsoft to cave and just give them a load of money to keep quiet. all the money grabbers come out when someone makes it big.
doesnt colinux have 2kb compessed files that open up to around 10gb? since they are just all null files.
also, such a compression where your doing so much is gonna eat into time and cpu usage, and if 1 thing goes wrong in any of it, you loose all that data.
i have said it before, and ill say it again, sony suck at this sort of stuff. they should just stick to what they do best, but, we dont even know what THAT is any more since there are so many better and cheaper than them.

it could be that they dont want people knowing there is an easy way to escape where they are.

so, we could technicaly just be part of a cell within something so huge, we will never know. like what single celled organismes are to us.
debian making a release within 5 years of a previous release? AND its a major version jump...
There is no maximum to Telewest/Blueyonder, its totaly unlimited.

any un-supported beta software crashes alot.. ohh wait, thats because its beta software, not ment for general use, as it says when you use it...

i hope microsoft tell the EU to shove their "easy money" sceme, thats all the EU want, microsoft's money.
i dont see why windows cant bundle WMP or IE, yet its ok for every linux dist to bundle a media player, and a browser.
microsoft have already opened up documents for everything the EU wanted, the EU are just getting greedy and forcing microsoft to give up more.

i think homer simpson put it like "instead of one bigshot controling the all the media, now a thousand freaks are xeroxing their worthless opinions".
replace xeroxing with serving, you have what blogs are.
