    i know what dual booting and virtualisation is, what im saying is, in most cases, if vmware isnt good enough, just run the two or more operating systems seperatly

    if vmware/qemu/Bochs/virtual pc, isnt good enough for the speed you need, just dual boot the OS's or if you want many servers on one machine, both IIS and Apache offer virtual hosts...

    hollywood have a generic script for each genre, with 5 interchangable twists. whenever they want a new movie for a new genre, they randomize 3 of the twists, place them into generic scripts, randomise the names in the script... and then production begins of "Yet Another Hollywood Movie"

    this was in IE7 Beta2, i know, as i used it. its just a simple xml standard that allows anyone to create an xml file that descripts their search engine and its capibilitys and how to use them.. and IE7 adds it to its engine list. and it also allows you to set ANY as the default engine.

    Sky have a method that CAN be broke, but, they thought of that. to watch encrypted content (stuff you need to pay for to watch), your sky box requires a phoneline, where sky send new encryption codes every 3 mins, which your box uses to decode the info being sent to it via the satalite.

    so, when you break the encryption, and flash a homebrew sky card with the codes, they expire after a few mins anyway, and you need to do this all over again.

    i hope microsoft tell the EU to shove their "easy money" sceme, thats all the EU want, microsoft's money.

    i dont see why windows cant bundle WMP or IE, yet its ok for every linux dist to bundle a media player, and a browser.

    microsoft have already opened up documents for everything the EU wanted, the EU are just getting greedy and forcing microsoft to give up more.

    for all the zealots with "fix windows first"... i have this for you:

    the reason you see the bugs in windows, is because it has a VAST majority of the market. so you see it more. linux as a kernel has more bugs in it than the whole of windows, you just dont see them, because linux is a very small part of the world comparitivly.

    the "bog-standard 32-bit PC hardware" is a bit optimistic. it would be more like a pc with SSE2 support at least with some features needing SSE3 to work as they should since that is what the hacked versions of osx86 require now.

    doesnt colinux have 2kb compessed files that open up to around 10gb? since they are just all null files. also, such a compression where your doing so much is gonna eat into time and cpu usage, and if 1 thing goes wrong in any of it, you loose all that data.
