    I broke itunes DRM once, the downside to that was itunes knew that I had broken it and refused to play the tracks. It would play in other apps, but I like itunes so I live with the DRM; though I don't really care for it.

    Baltimore, MD -- when the television goes dark and the news is out, people best be armed and wearing armor. This could be all-out chaos. I'm envisioning a reaction similar to one that would occur if the government simultaneously bounced all of the welfare checks and all of the Independence cards were declined.

    African Grey's are the Einstein's of the bird world. They are very bright and enjoy mischief. They do not make good pets for the impatient as they often throw temper-tantrums. I've read that African Grey's have intelligence akin to the average two-year old. Maybe in 100,000 years or so they will evolve to develop an intelligence on par with people -- that is, if we don't kill them all first.

    " Jobs' " is the correct possessive. When a word ends in with the letter "s" and is a proper noun then to make it possessive you just add the apostrophe. You must forgo the additional "s".

    LOL. Modeling 101: A) Work out the knowns and model the easy parts first. B) Add difficult knowns that complicate model. C) Test and try and find unkowns.

    You are incorrect about HIV immunity. See the study about Eyam and the Delta32 mutation. Turns out if you can trace your linage to Eyam you have a 14% chance of getting a double expression of the Delta32 mutation which results in immunity to Plague and HIV. They both attack the immune system with a similar mechanism and the mutation blocks the needed pathway. This mutation is why there are differing rates of infection among Asians Europeans and Africans. Africans and Asians got gipped; no plague and virtually no Delta32 expression.

    So why did you say no one is immune? Is it based on a belief or a scientific study?

    Malicious hacker's and spammer's make for more secure computer systems. If everybody played nicey-nice, then it is likely that laziness would result in serious security flaws that would go unfixed.

    If it weren't for the Plague then a part of the population today would not be immune to HIV. The Plague helped promote the Delta32 mutation that has saved lives today. Hackers are facilitating better code for the world. Only the fittest survive.

    It is like the 1939 World's fair ... full of fun stuff that will probably never happen. They were talking flying cars 60 years ago. The Hal 9000 is nearly 40. I like idealized views of the future its fun and there's no harm in it.
