    Ha, my _server_ is a 250MHz MIPS box (Cobalt RaQ2) with 256MB RAM. Pretty sure your systems have MB of ram, not KB of RAM...

    You've got reading comprehension problems. Or maybe just font problems. That's a lower-case 'l' (ell), not a capital 'I' (eye).

    That is, it's "Rock Melt", not "Rock Me It". Having had some geology classes, it made perfect sense to me. Rock Melt is where multiple different source rocks are mixed and compressed and melted together, like FaceTubeTwitter out of the big 3 that the browser it targeting...

    Of course intelligence or a unique way of thinking is due to a physical brain property. What other possibility is there? Fairy dust? A "soul"? Now I agree it may be that the physical properties which remain after death and dissection aren't enough to reconstruct the physical properties important to intelligence or unique thought, there are certainly enough properties there to make the study worthwhile.

    Even now, (not sure about FB), some sites realize that you may not have access to your old email account. A DoS to the old FB email (send a bunch of spammy, mostly legitimate looking 'someone hacked your FB account' emails, but with .ru links), will get most people to ignore the 'real' one, preventing them from noticing the change of email on their account.

    I have no idea what the toolset is like for Android. Not even sure how it is for the iPhone, but given its heritage, and conversations I've had with iPhone developers, I'd imagine that developing iPhone apps would be much more enjoyable than developing apps for Android.

    Now, as for getting paid and being able to release whatever sort of app you want, Android totally wins there.

    Small correction. We're not pumping "sewage" into the geysers, we're pumping tertiary treated waste water, which I've drunk, straight out of the Santa Rosa water treatment plant's little fountain.

    Certainly geothermal can be workable, but it's probably better done somewhere like Nevada which is sparsely populated. Of course there, water needs become an issue.

    Yeah, Mail.app says I have 377,002 _unread_ messages in my Computers folder (including all the subfolders).
    Not sure how many total messages, or the total size. I asked Mail.app, and it's busy thinking about it.

    Spotlight seems to do pretty well, but sometimes I can be looking at a message, see a word, and ask spotlight and it says, "huh?".
