Are Hackers not anonymous too ??
A hacker is like a Navy Seals operation and a DoS & DDoS are like a mass bombing (like WW2 bombing of Dresden).
..and trust me: we do not want to compare anything on the Internet with terrorism... We do not want fed's all over the place...
Could somone pls. explain for me why I need Group Policies for a secure browser ???
you can't implement "real" security with group policies since they are on the local machine... so don't log on and you will not get the group policy and you can surf whatever you want...
I don't think that it will be 5 years... a PC is Intel compatible personal computer, if they want to ship PPC based systems they can do it right away... and they have in fact allready sent a low-cost PPC server on the market.
If a nessesary part of the OS (MMC could be an example in this case) requires an app. (IE) then the required app. is a part of the OS since the OS can't function without the app.
Next question is why can some other browser not replace IE in this functionality... the answer is in fact quite simple... this functionality is not a part of an Internet browser so no other browser implement it.
...something more interresting than GAMES ?...something we could use ?? like calculating a comets way thru the solar system... ...or calculating a tsunamis way, speed and size faster than the tsunami moves... so we know where and when the tsunami strikes and how big it will be...
"Well gee, that's new. The fact is, small companies install and run Windows, and put up with the problems, because they just can't afford a "linux guy"."
Neither can they afford a WinServer guy... they just think anyone can run a WinServer and that's the reason for all the problems they've got...
Several countries in eastern europe are now members of EU and more will follow. Yugoslavia was in fact the most western-like country in eastern europe.
Definition of terrorism and civil war are a mess and depends of where you are in the conflict, freedom fighters are called terrorists and terrorists call themself freedom figters... many freedom fighters have been called terrorists in the past and advanced later to be freedom fighters.
Well this is a "minor" problem... the Spanish did not need to set off bombs in Basque because they have got other well working forces (in this case the police). You fight with those weapons you've got and a bomb is quite simple to manufacture.
What I'm trying to say is when we look at "terrorism" we always must look at the reasons behind it...
...but english is not my native language and I do not live in any of the english-speaking countries... ...and when you can say "rødgrød med fløde" flawlessly I will consider to improve my english...
I remember a civil war in Yugoslavia recently... and they too have been thru those 2 wars... You are very naive if you think that a civil war in EU is impossible... the cultural, political and economic differences are big enough to be a reason for a war... we've allready got a civil war in Spain and in Great Britain... we do not call them civil wars of course (I guess we are too civilized for that) we call them terrorists... but there are people fighting the government with real weapons...
They (Adobe, EA Games) don't need to release their software under GPL... It would be a gigantic step forward if they would release a Linux version of their software...
Well, and you are a PC zealot ? No, you can't be that...
I see clearly now... you are a M$ zealot... allways trying to be better than anybody else in everything... you've got more RAM, more GHz, more HD space... and now they are ruining your world by being small and efficient... Life sucks...
maybe because this indicates that Intel is a little afraid of Mac's popularity... ...and yes, small PC's have been available for quite long time now... but an usual PC-owner is not interested in how small a PC can be... s/he is interested in how many harddrives and expansion cards may be installed in the PC... and how much ultrahighspeed RAM sockets there are... and how many GHz the CPU is running... :Start -> I just installed new version of Windows but then i nedded more RAM... and then I needed more space on my HD... and then I upgraded my CPU, well i would but I also needed new mb and new RAM for this and then... goto Start Funny... I don't remember such comments from any Mac user...
if it can be watched on a std. crt type (NOT Trinitron type) tv you can get the analog signal from the inputs of the crt's driver transistors... then find the sync signal... and sound... and you've got an analog output... well some resistors may be nessesary to bring signal level down where it is supposed to be...
BTW. DON'T TRY IT AT HOME... there are at least 25 kV inside a color tv... it is quite chocking experience to get in touch with...
I've seen 2000 Pro, 2000 Server, XP and 2003 with BSOD... several times... but they are also extremely good in just freezing, without any reason and without BSOD... and a combination of the right graphics card, right motherboard and right game just does the trick...
What are You talking about ?? I've just installed a SuSE 9.1 Prof. on two very different machines : a dual CPU server with a RAID controller and a laptop with a somehow different graphics card without any trouble and without needing drivers... I couldn't installl Windows on any of these machines without special drivers... then I nedded to hook my laptop to an external SCSI drive... I inserted a PCMCIA SCSI card and was running in two minutes... again without need for drivers... No, hardware is not a problem any longer... but it would help a lot if hw manufacturers mentioned that a piece of hw is suported in Linux on the box...
You can buy a std. reader that outputs the info from a card as clear text thru a std. keyboard port (via a passthru plug)... directly to wherever your cursor is... it is in common use in Denmark for raeding social security cards. There are nothing specially secret in this. This is why banks are switching to chip-cards now... If he have gone into the chip-cards he would have everyone (all banks, police, Interpol and FBI) on his neck...

Once I've got a Firefox called Frosty... but how did you know that ?? ...and where did you get his piss ??
Could somone pls. explain for me why I need Group Policies for a secure browser ??? you can't implement "real" security with group policies since they are on the local machine... so don't log on and you will not get the group policy and you can surf whatever you want...
they are "PC-free freaks" so they use what is available on their system... wich obviously can't be MSIE...
They have allready switched... they shipped a presentation some time ago where they used a FireFox... later they denied it...
I don't think that it will be 5 years... a PC is Intel compatible personal computer, if they want to ship PPC based systems they can do it right away... and they have in fact allready sent a low-cost PPC server on the market.
Banking software often need Active-X or MSVM... (f.x. CitiBank OnLine)
I have serious problems with downloading the source for MSIE...
I need to compile it on my Tru64...

Neither can they afford a WinServer guy... they just think anyone can run a WinServer and that's the reason for all the problems they've got...
That is correct...
I just wanted to say that some of us may have a reason for beeing less-than-perfect in the english language...

You may see an example for this kind reader here : PS/2 passthru reader
Pricetag: $49 for 2-track, $59 for 3-track...
