Under the international treaty, NAFTA, signed by all participants, Canadian citizens still have their Canadian constitutional protections against such warrantless searches of their data.
Just saying.
The US Constitution states that international treaties overrule your local laws.
While I think you're probably correct about the Wii 2 dev, I should point out that they are releasing Sims Medieval for the Wii right now.
Basically, indications are that the licensing of the 3D tech for the iPad 3D slowed down dev resources, and they wanted to implement a strong HDTV 1080p 3D console, but didn't want to be too bleeding edge until that firmed up.
Not sure about exact timing of the release though, since the iPad 3D will be coming out for Thanksgiving 2011 to allow for Xmas 2011 sales buzz and the techs won't be fully back at Nintendo until then.
(caveat - I sold all my Nintendo and Apple shares)
Obviously, we will never need more than 640k (he says as he types on a 1000 Gbps line, not using his quad-core machine with 8GB DDR3) and the Net is a fad too.
Here's a clue stick - Government Computer News shows about half of all government devices purchased are expected to be tablets like the iPad, iPad2, and iPad3.
You feds tried that before and our State Constitution threw it out before.
Just raise the GVW license fees instead. Wear and tear is most highly correlated with Mass (or Weight).
Otherwise, why would a bicycle cause so little damage bike paths use an inch thick strip to ride on while fed highways literally are very very thick due to 18 wheel trucks?
They can pry my out of print works out of my cold dead hands after my legal heirs have had a century to Profit off of it, right, Disney?
But, seriously, I was writing before there was an Internet, and on what preceded the Internet and other dead trees while Google was but a gleam in their shareholders eyes.
Just crew the ship(s) with Japanese astronauts....
What? Too soon?
I mean, their nuclear regulatory agency says they can take 10 to 20 times the exposure levels for radiation as any other human, so they must be better!
Actually, I grew up on 40+ acre tree farms until I was fairly old. My carbon debt (where I walk or bus 1-2 miles to work) is infinitismal next to yours.
And I tend to reuse paper. I have a first edition of ERB Tarzan and the Ant Men that makes your Foundation Trilogy look like a coloring book.
Yes, but the House and Senate reauthorized the Foreign War of Republican Adventure in Afghanistan by a 393 to 81 vote (or something like that) today.
We have always been a debtor nation providing free military to Red China and Russia to extract Afghan and Iraqi resources at US taxpayer expense... right?
In WA state, minimum wage is something like $10.80 an hour. 40 hours a week... $560 a week.... $2240 a month say... Not that much more than what someone at Burger King makes.
Assuming it was only 40 hours.
Lawyers make a lot of money, but they work very long hours, and thus make less per hour than a decent IT worker who bills at 70 to 100 an hour.
Back in the 60's they correctly predicted we'd all be using fusion reactors to power our future, we'd be eating our meals in pills, and we'd fly around on jetpacks or use hovercars.
That was when I knew the business card was dead, just like the fission reactor.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a crabfeed to attend to on the Moon.
You know, I play a lot of games with the sound off. Probably half of the market does too.
First rule of running a gaming business - know your customer. Realize the people you run into at gaming cons are not necessarily your customer and listen to them but don't do everything they say they want.
If I can hook you with a simple game and sell you addons and chrome or spiffs, then my revenue goes viral and I make more than if I give you everything you want all at once. Selling different versions of games maximizes profit - for example, I sell a barebones with a BuyMore option to kids and lookeloos and I sell a full feature Platinum version to gamer geeks - but even then I make you pay to queue jump or get special mounts or addons.
Quite frankly, he has no idea how much of a business gaming is, and I predict that we'll be seeing a lot of HTML5 and HTML6 versions of browser gaming apps, especially as tablets dominate the home and business market.
I actually write in different styles, and used that for different RPG game systems and stories - now all I have to do is go to a nearby cafe (cant go a block without running into two) and use their free computers using different personas.
In fact, I think I'll start studying the writing styles of Cheney, Rove, and Fnarf and using them as writing templates for my next posts...
Pretty easy to do.
I think most of my current personae are quite radically different in writing style from my other published pseudonyms.
no, the iPad3 releases for Xmas 2011 - and the 3D tech in it means kids will be getting one under the Xmas tree so they can play Angry Birds and Pokemon on it.
They won't drop the price on that until after the iPhone5 releases, and probably not until the next gen iPad that follows.

If you don't like it, don't sign treaties.
But get your hands off my Canadian citizen data!

The main problem is that science is peer-reviewed, whereas wiki is just the voice of the masses.
There's a lot of junk on wiki, unless you're referring to basic primers and gaming guides.

Adapt or die.
So does that mean my inactive MySpace account from last century still counts as a "MySpace user"?
I think I changed my home email three times since then.
You feds tried that before and our State Constitution threw it out before.

"You do it over rule of law, rules of evidence, and principles..."
This is America. We exist only for the Citizens who are Corporations.
Everyone else is a serf.
If you don't like it, you shouldn't have elected a right-of-center President like Obama.

Make that "Why do you hate Trees in America?" Then we can skewer this guy from both the right and the left.
Yes, but then he'll just use paper made from Japanese destroyed paper hanging lanterns and call himself Green. And then glow in the dark too!

Actually, there are plastic cards for Java, C, C++, C#, and many other languages. Check out most university or college bookstores.
My fave is the one for Perl.
No, seriously, why?
If you were a decent writer, you'd write an iPad eBook or a crippled version for the Droid.
Let me guess, you included lots of glossy pictures too, right?
And I shake my baby handprints on the wall of the Alamo at this insanity.
This shall not stand!

Canadian citizens have a right to Privacy that is stronger.
Regardless of what the American lawyers for these companies tell you, it's in the Canadian Constitution.
And, for that matter, EU citizens also have stronger Rights in these regards, especially in terms of data sharing.
Just because a lawyer tells you something, doesn't make it true - my family is full of lawyers and lots of my friends are lawyers or judges too.
Most modern office buildings run cell and wireless rebroadcast thruout.
You might want to move to a more modern area.

How come?
God, slashdot is so 2008.
Get with the program - 3D HTML6 is the way to roll!
