There is no god-given right to perform in the Olympics. You have to hope that these athletes put all of the time and hard work into it to better themselves.
If their entire dream was to make it to the Olympics I say let them be punished. Their dreams can be shattered like the millions of other peoples who live in china.
Only I wouldn't give a crap if a cops address or phone number was posted. Or pictures of undercover cops. Or where there kids go to school. All of these things would be encouraged. To me this is the only good thing modern movies have going for them. When there is an explosion I want my house to shake. When there is a firearm discharge I want my ears to ring. You ever shot a.45 with no ear protection? Thats what I want! And when there is dialog it should be as if I'm in the room with the person speaking. If the character is speaking softly you should have to lean in and listen more intently, just as you would in real life.
For me what ruins this for me is my girlfriend. She constantly wants to adjust the volume - "now it's too loud" so she turns it down. Then the action settles and she cant hear the dialog so she turns it up. rinse, lather, repeat.
When watching a movie I set my amp to -37db and don't touch it after that.

I thought the lighting in doom 3 was perfect because it was REALISTIC!! No matter how bright you turn up your contrast/brightness you still cant see into the darkest spots.

You writing "see ID" does nothing. I'd just remove it, and sign it my way. I can check a cards status before I even go to the mall to spend all of your money. BTW you might think I'm talking shit. there are 2 major ways to remove a sig from a card.
1. High Quality soft white art eraser. This will take or ballpoint pen, india ink, and some marker inks.
2. Chemical Cleaning. Rub a very little bit of solvent over the back to remove sigs written in sharpie or other permanent markers.
So in the end this is all moot. You want security, do what I do and use cash!
And if for any reason there are more secure features... like the persons picture right on the card, you just do it as an inside job with a merchant who have a deal arranged with. and no, I am not kidding. Many merchants are more than happy to take stolen money (gasp!)
