    There was an interesting article in the Guardian http://education.guardian.co.uk/faithschools/story /0,,1740548,00.html the other day. The thesis is that it is the atheistic stance of many proponents of evolution that leads religious people to believe that evolution is an attack on religion and thus they must "choose" between the two. I personally believe that generally science and religion are incompatible, but the pro-evolution people should consider whether attacking church-dogma directly is a good idea if they are trying to "convert" the masses to rational thought.

    1. The US has used up its "attack bad country" card for the time being, so they won't do anything.
    2. Israel will take the threat seriously and bomb the hell out of Iran's caches of missiles and nuclear weapons facilities.
    3. The UN will make more pointless resolutions condemning Israel.

    4.The US vetoes the resolution.

    Can I brew beer in it? Actually, this is not a bad idea. The warmth from the cpu and harddrives would make an ideal environment for brewing lagers. You could also use scripts to launch processor intensive applications on a timed interval to keep the heat up (xscreensaver would do the job).

    What "race" are people from India? Are they a different "race" than people from the U.S.? Yes, obviously. They are of the "Indian" race or "subcontinental asian".

    No need to get insulting. Perhaps my argument was too subtle. If people in outsourced firms sell data and people in US firms sell client data what does outsourcing have to do with anything. I am against outsourcing for other reasons but insinuating that indian firms are less trustworthy is a bogus claim.

    I still don't see how this is an indian issue or even an outsourcing issue. There are crooks in India, there are crooks in the US. If US call-centres were held to a higher standard, perhaps I could understand the point but selling client information and problems with insecure storage of data are universal.

    If you posted this, why are you now posting anonymously? I can't be bothered to look up references but it is undeniable that slashdot readers are easily provoked into rants against indians. Why provoke it? Is it really important that the scammers were indian?
