I am far more nervous about MS branching out into areas they have no experience in.
Google by nature has proven to be ethical about its businesss/privacy actions. MS has always put security/privacy behind profits.
This scares me.
for compatability purposes, I would use windows based encryption. Just format the drive (ntfs) using a win2k box and then save the files to the drive using a winxp box. Encrypt the file in a separate folder on the drive using winxp sp2 encryption and then export the key to a common folder on the drive. You will be asked for a password to export the encryption key from winxp (admin tools, snap-ins) and save the key un-encrypted.
To read the device load it into any windows based machine, import the key and provide the credentials and your done.
Another way is to use a drive similar to the Lexar JumpDrive Secure. Its 256 AES encryption and works flawlessly on most machines. Anyone here who says not to trust manufacturers is smokin dope if they can think they can crack 256 aes easily.
Ive tried both systems, i prefer the windows encryption method for simplicity. But trust the Lexar system as it loads the software automatically on most machines.
I wonder how much Thott got for his website, if Im not mistaken, Thott is a player from EQ that developed the website. IGN is known for offering insane amounts of cash to website owners./shrug
after playing EQ for 4 years I have given up on any quality games from $ony.
Their customer service does not exist and they do not listen to their players.
It got to the point that it turned my off of all MMORPG's, good thing WoW came along.
"Microsoft rejiggered Internet Explorer so that if you type in a URL that doesn't exist, the browser will redirect you to a Microsoft page. "
This alone is reason enough to switch to firefox.

" Do you believe your study would have been allowed to be published had the results turned out against them?"
Or, what do you think would have happened to the study?
Interesting that the screenshots show start.com as the beta domain, yet, start.com routinely states that it isnt an official site.

nothing like billionairs sitting around trying to figure out how to charge even more money. We need OPENSOURCE HARDWARE!!!
I would consider it if the service was not rental. Plus, having the songs tied to a device sucks.
