If you're not a heavy user the crash is gradual and not very bad, it's only bad if you've been binging on the stuff and haven't slept for several days.
To the GP, that's a great idea, hope someone important sees it.
To parent, yeah, that would be a great way to do it. I'm sure there would be no shortage of players to volunteer to do it. I'd sign up in a second.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's great, I don't play it, but this article has maybe 2-3 lines og real advice for PnP GM's.
To me it seems like the author is more interested in promoting WoW, than doing what the article title said the article was about.
So, they find a squid larger than the "giant" squid, and decide to call it a "colossal" squid.
