    Well, XBox1 was sold 22 million times worldwide. Even if they can keep up 4 million / 8 months, they would need 4 years to get over that number. (Doesn't sound "substantially higher" to me) Of course they will not be able to keep up the current rate of sales and will probably never reach even the XBox1 installed base with XBox360.
    Microsoft will have to drop Xbox360 prices substantially.

    How many pc gamers with a half decent rig play at 720x576 (or local equivalent??), which is the maximum resolution of PAL
    Don't forget about the interlacing, it's 288 lines alternating to give you that splitting headache you deserve ;)

    Yes, HD is more than welcome for consoles.

    In other news, mathematicians still agree that 24 times 4 is 96.

    YUV 4:2:0 saves 50% bits over YUV 4:4:4, more info on wikipedia (per usual) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chroma_subsampling

    Such a "command DVD" (iCDVD) would automaticly eject after being read. It couldn't be easier to use, it just works(tm).

    omg d00d >> u == l4mor!11oneone O_o I noticed that, with the crowd I hang out with, "lol" has become a regular word. So instead of laughing at something mildly funny, we'd say "lol" instead. Note: I speak dutch natively, and 'lol' is a word in dutch, meaning 'fun'
