Sites should use encrypted cookies for storing your preferances , and if they wish to share your data it should be explicitly stated that they will. Forced encryption of cookies would be nice , perhaps encryption on both ends so you decide which site views your cookies (in a more secure fashion). Getting people to agree and use it is another story
No no Marketing is not lying,, Marketing is creativly bending the truth. Marketing is spin doctoring and its pretty much a horrible thing in my eyes. For example marketing spin... "man saves 2 from burning house , fighting his way through the flames" in marketing speak can be "man abducts 2 , after breaking in to house and smashing many posesions "
Reminds me of something some said to me once Freind:Dude a small precision tool is far better than a large blunt object Me: Yes but nothing beats a large blunt object for doing some serious hammering.
If you go back in time to kill your father and do so then you will not exist and thus not have been able to go back in time to do it . so the whole event would not have actually occurred.
News is news , Apple just happen to be on the warpath right now and are in the limelight allot. "the good old days" are never as good as you remember .
He is the second best Anakin Skywalker ever... OK that's not saying much as that little kid was so annoying that most people had hoped he would come across the wrong end of a light sabre a few times
Its not for losers but i would say its nearly ready for lusers. De-Raadt says nothing about it being for losers but he does say its terrible and in my opinion he is wrong,i wont get drawn into a slapping war about this as i like *BSD aswell
Trojans can do a fair bit of damage , but i don't yet think they have one which can print out a robot to go and swap the network cables around to put it on the internet... which raises the question of how it would get on a secure computer in the first place unless James Bond has gone rouge
Um no , its the same definition as in Get X free with your purchase of Y.
how are they not playing fair though ? They are being rather fair i would say since there was no moral obligation for them to do this
MS-Windows as one(operating systems) , MS office and IE as another company (including the office type apps or basically anything software that isn't an OS or a game) , MS hardware (keyboards mice etc.) , MS support,MS games (PC , Xbox etc.)
That should about cover breaking Microsoft up into manageable chunks
I think he meant not upgrading as in just making a totally different PC and using a case , as opposed to its not an upgrade of components. It may be a nice case mod , but have you seen how much the g4 cubes cost , they are still regularly being sold at around the same price of the MacMini
I would love to help , although i feel my disabilities may make it a rather mammoth task for me that would eat far too much time(6 typos in this paragraph alone;) ), however i will inform a few friends of the effort as i do have several friends with far better spelling and writing skills than I
So far , Digital media will continue to evolve which is why i gave the 50 year time frame as so far continual backups are needed and always will be i imagine but to a far lesser extent in regularity stakes. Why i see paper as an unnecessary waste of resources is that we simply could do without it though i do believe till the technology is perfect it wont happen .
