Of-course computers are not going anywhere and are here to stay so more and more will be produced hopefully more efficiently as time passes , paper however is an unnecessary waste of resources .
Having a collective base of all government documents online is indeed a noble goal , perhaps consideration could be made to include digitalisation of all Literary works which have fallen into the public domain. Marilyn vos Savant (I believe it was Von Savant)wrote about the entire collection of the worlds literature being contained on just 2 discs , it would be nice to think that we are one step closer to having something of that ilk easily accessible even if it is just for government records at the moments. Hopefully within the next 50 years we shall see actually see paper go the way of the Dodo and which would certainly be rather grand from an ecological stand point considering how expensive printed publishing can be (storage space , ecological impact , and ink)

I am a little young to remember those days , but what really stood out to me about batman was the fact that he was completly crazy and all the more intresting for it

I was playing Mortal Kombat 2 the other day rather well on my 400mhzs g3 with Mame.The reason the ps2 can barely play pacman is simply because the ps2 mame is not refined enough , it ran perfectly on the dreamcast which by all accounts had lesser procesing power. I would say the psp shoudl be able to handle most mame games rather admirably if its programed to the hardware , it does have alot of power beneth the hood(it can do alot more in hardware than the ps2 iirc , not that that would effect 2d games that much though)
unfortunatly at this time , most shipping units have been upgraded to the 1.5+ firmware . I have a japanese unit from a couple of months ago and it was snet out with 1.5 already installed
It kind of freaked me out during my college days for slightly difrent reasons (Begins with an L ends with an SD). Though that was definantly a very screwed up movie if you think about it
I've been to Cambridge a few times and i was amazed at how little vandalism occurs considering how many students are there . Its a very nice city and is kept surprisingly clean and the campus i was staying at was immaculate. Living in the part of Germany i do now its common to see graffiti everywhere and its really depressing to see some beautiful old building ruined (and some ugly old DDR buildings as-well which is less annoying), but i have seen only one piece of graffiti in Cambridge . To be fair i have only spent a very short amount of time there , and have not seen all the city , but I would say I've seen a fair amount of it , i Do not think vandalism will be a problem , which is perhaps one of the reasons Cambridge was chosen for such an endeavour
To be honest I would of laughed my head of at it when i was that age , i found it more disturbing now than what i would of way back when i was a 7 year old. Kids are allot more resilient to these things Just look at Tom and Jerry , god that has some massive amounts of violence in it , kids (well boys , can't speak for women here) love that stuff , Decapitating my little ponies and barbie dolls etc. Only one film really got to me when i was around that age , and that was water-ship down which really made me uneasy with all the psychotic bunny rabbits and heavy Symbolist imagery .
The mob is ruled by the loudest idiots;) , Though the opposing mob is also affected by the same rule. Anti and pro (X) zealots are always a pain as they cause problems for those who are genuine fans and Disponents
Why would you hate them for their business model ? . they did fairly well with it , unless of-course your more into a community market which i have nothing against
Loving a product because it is of high quality is OK, Loving a product because its made by a certain manufacturer is a problem. People all too often insult those who like the product for what it is, bycalling them fan-boys when who they really should insult is the people who blindly love something because its made by the manufacturer
Supposed liberals do , Real liberals should find it appalling . In-fact Real conservatives find it appealing too , having just spoken to a friend on the issue who is thoroughly to the right. Its the Sudo corrupt people who find it acceptable , those who are unwilling to change and only wish to have their world vies justified . This is not an issue of Right vs. left but Right(as in correct) vs. wrong.

Look at monitors from 20 years ago and compare them to what we have today , i don't think it will be a problem
No it doesn't but linux mame is far more mature than mac mame and in my experience I've found it to be allot smother.

Have you tried it on linux PPC , its far smother than MacMame in my experiance
