Easy , Microsoft have been convicted of abusing their monopoly making them an illegal monopoly . They are using it to break into other markets and the courts do nothing apparently. Apple has a large majority in portable and online music for that player (the same market) microsoft have a monopoly on OSs and are using that monopoly to push into another market
Before anyone says "but apple", Apple do not have a monopoly , they may have very large market share in the portable music market but it is by no means a monopoly. Microsoft have a monopoly on desktop computing and i am fairly sure they will include this by default in longhorn with plenty of ads on it , Hearsay thus far but i wouldn't put it past them

Great idea and all , but Id be amazed if you could power down windows in that time , never mind boot a live CD...(not entirely meant to be that serious a remark)
;) but is the capital city of Oregon called Capital city . Maybe it was based around Oregon with a touch of some of the places surrounding new York and some Texas thrown in for good measure but i don't think it was actually meant to in any real place

You can Declare variables in PHP its not needed but you can do it $blah = 1 ; $String = " " . and you can even give them a type by doing it $floatvar = 1.1. It's not needed as noted , but if it helps you use the language then it's easy enough to imitate it .

Well Canada is likely to make it easy for homosexual marriages in the near future to have equal grounding with Heterosexual marriages which at-least shows they have respect for the rights of individuals.. It will be rather unfortunate if it is used to cover up the Destruction of Canadians rights to Fair Use

In Germany this is semi true. First if your caught without a driving license not just any id whilst driving then you face a 50 euro fine or nothing most of the time they just say don't do it again. The hotel thing ? where never heard of that in any EU nation.. perhaps in the ex soviet block during the soviet reign. Yes the police can request all your details if they have good reason and a court order um like every other country in the world.
Yes you do have to register at the town hall for tax reasons and services such as waste disposal... like most other countries.
Then he will execute order 66 and have all the jedi wiped out and declare a new glorious galactic Empire...Dun dun dun dun de dun dun de dun.. On the positive side Dick Chenney will get his legs chopped off by Al Gore and get horribly burnt on a lava world and eventualy chenney will throw bush down a long shaft and he will die and the balance will return to the force... but till then we can whatch the clone wars cartoons and play with the lego models...
