Maybe it's time for the world to get another dose of Xenophobia from us - of course the last time we did that, you morons invented Hitler.
Is German patent/copyright law enough of a deterrent to prevent a recurrance?
I have not played Guilty Gear Slash, but I have played Guilty Gear XX, and there is very little balance there whatsoever. My point was that balancing extremely diverse entities is a challenge in and of itself. Diversity alone is not enough.
Just well-balanced? Starcraft is perhaps the most balanced game in existence, when you consider that there's essentially no similarities whatsoever between the three races.
I don't see anywhere that he claims to be a 'lover of the 'Religion of Love'', seems to me he just disagrees with you. I'm also still a little confused as to the purpose of your claims, as regardless of the truth of past wrongdoings under Christian 'authorities', I have not met any Christians today who support those past atrocities beyond a few nutjobs who think blowing up abortion clinincs is God-ordained, whereas (granted through an American Media Filter) I do see Islamic radicals commiting atrocities on a much larger scale.
In today's world, on a global scale Christians are the victims of violence more than the instigators.
Just a friendly reminder that if you're more likely to be killed by something that's already happened, done, and over with, than to be killed by something today, then you're either already dead, a survivor, or so far off in the future as to be irrelevant.
The Xbox/360 is not the same as all consoles in general. None of my other consoles connect for updates on anything. I would prefer that this remain the case for eternity, but the market seems to be moving in a different direction.
You can create a much more compelling alarm clock with a wind-up. Put a shelf above your bed, and then balance a bucket full of water on it, then rig the clock so that if you don't get up immediately and shut the alarm off, you get water dumped all over you.
A friend of mine did that in college, and it seemed to work quite well -- he only got dumped on once.
That's a risk I don't think Nintendo needs to worry about, actually -- Many of the people who want a Wii aren't even gamers! They won't get a 360 'instead' -- to those people, it's Wii or Bust -- And because they aren't particularly hardcore gamers, they likely can be much more patient than fools like me.
A repost of a comment I made on a previous topic, but still relevant here
Perhaps a majority of the problem is the ridiculously unrealistic gap between an experienced warrior and one with relatively less experience.
I think the entire problem would resolve itself if the difference between a level 1 character's fighting ability and a level 90 character's fighting ability was significantly less.
In an MMORPG environment, if 3 level 1 characters could gang up and take down someone who has reached the highest point you can reach, then I think the entire concept of the grind would take a back seat to interesting gameplay.
PlanetSide is an MMOFPS that takes this concept and deals with it quite well. You can spend your points each level to gain the ability to use new weapons or vehicles, with some abilities having pre-requisite abilities. If you want, you can trade the abilities back for the points you used to earn them, but you can only 'sell' one ability every 6 hours. Once you're level 8 or so, you have access to pretty much everything the game has to offer, and further levels only serve to expand the number of things you can do at once -- essentially expanding your flexibility. But by no means is a level 20 character STRONGER than a level 8 character, they simply have more venues of attack.
If you dedicate a phone line with a decent connection that's up as close to 24/7 as you can manage, a dial-up connection can pull about 8 GB / month. At least, that's what I was getting before the switch to broadband.
The only mental image that gives me is of a man hitting the piece of rebar, adding some rotational velocity, and getting slapped by the tail end of it as it passes...
I, too, excelled greatly in school and found it to be effortless, never needing to take work home and always finished before the bell rang. Then as time ground onward and teachers began assigning significant amounts of work that could not be done in class, I was too adjusted to having free time when I wasn't at school.
I honestly don't know if it was a conscious decision, or some form of subconscious rebellion, but to this day I struggle with getting work done once I'm out of a classroom. I'm now a Sophomore in college, but I've withdrawn from several classes and failed a few as well because I struggle immensely with spending what I feel should be 'free time' doing academics.
Perhaps not so surprising, my ability to get work done DURING class has always been excellent, and every employer I've ever had has always told me I have an excellent work ethic.
But college altogether? I'm smart enough for it... but I struggle. I sometimes wonder if I'll even get my degree, because it's very difficult for me to focus.
I've seen this exact comment posted as AC in another article as well... Not sure what this guy's agenda is, but he strikes me as a waste of human flesh.
Sounds like a really shallow reason to hate something, if you ask me.

It's probably closer to even if you throw out all the non-attractive obese men as well.

What if the person I voted for did not win the election?
I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. As a music major, if I had mod points, I'd take you right up to +5 Funny

Maybe you ought to try an instruction manual -- or at the very least the keyboard cheat-sheet that ships with the PC version of the game.
While the D-pad is far from great, I'd rather they fix the back and start button positions first.
You remember Sparta? Jesus, how old are you...?

Because heaven forbid it could be both reasons, AT THE SAME TIME!

Yeah, I tried to mod your last post -1, Wrong as a result, but realized I didn't have mod points.
I tried EVE and couldn't stand it. I know a lot of people love it, but the pace was far too slow for my taste.

I'm just saying that it runs just fine for me with 1 MB RAM (and XP is just fine with 512 MB RAM).
1 MB?
