But in all seriousness, $1.2 million is not enough. It's not so much that telemarketing is annoying, it's downright predatory. Most of the people that were called at the place were either the quite elderly or the clearly retarded (mostly with Southern accents). And this was just for refinancing. I won't even begin to go into the people we hit up for reverse mortgages. I got called every name in the book, including various ethnic slurs which don't even apply to me.
Telemarketing is a cancer on the United States.
