  1. Re: There we go again on DARPA Wants To Kill the Password · · Score: 1

This would be fairly simple to brute force attack a password like you suggest. Every day sentences are not a good idea. Completely random sets of words would be better, but still not as secure as a strong password in the traditional way.

Things like typing speed and cadence over a longish sentence that you have previously chosen could be a nice alternative.

Or an interactive experience where you type your sentence, and the system responds with a new sentence, and you type some more stuff, might be alright, kind of like a series of secrete phrases 007 style, which kill the conversation at any point there is an unexpected deviance.

Hundreds of rockets were fired at Israel in the past month alone. Israel didn't respond. Finally Israel said if you don't stop, we will respond. And what happened? The rocket fire rate increase. Even now, as Israel makes half attempts to stop the rocket fire with limited strikes, they have offered Gaza a ceasefire if they stop the rocket attacks. Gaza refused, saying they want to fight this war to the bitter end. The Gazans only have themselves to blame for drawing a reluctant Israel into a pointless war.

Not really. There's a small subset of games, typically at much higher price points and late to market. I get 25 games for free each yr with XBOX LIVE GOLD, and pick up many AAA titles for $5 to $15 via on demand sales.

Although if you've got a macbook pro, do you have money left over to buy a console?

You can find an xbox360 for $100 on ebay/craigslist these days...or get a new one for $200. It's not just money though, there's no updating it, no viruses, no booting up and shutting down, no installing games, etc. It just works. And if it does break, just toss it or sell it on ebay and buy a new one. No need to spend hours/days trying to resurrect it.
