Feel a sense of accomplishment. To paraphrase Iain Banks: a robot composing a symphony is like a robot flying a helicopter to the top of a mountain; it presents its own unique challenges, but is not nearly as impressive as a robot climbing it with ropes and pegs.
how much more should a westerner tech manager expect over their current salary if moving internationally for their company...to a location where the cost of living is higher? just curious.
The only time I use windows to get work done is when I'm forced to due to compatibility issues. Otherwise, I find it tedious to get work done in Windows, in comparison to OS X or Linux.
I had the consumer preview version a few yrs back. After not being able to escape from metro for entirely too long, I uninstalled the OS and sold my MSFT stock.
no one is discussing using this to deny care, I'm not even sure how one could do so.
the better analogy is that after seeing your youtube vid of you burning out in the parking lot of your local mall, they figure out why you always have an alignment problem...and recommend a burn out friendly suspension setup.
the IDF has the highest senior officer/commander casualty rate in the world because they are required to lead their troops out front on the battlefield. you often see generals on the front lines directing combat.
they also have mandatory military service, so any gov member who votes for war is sending their children/family to war.
exactly. rules of war are a luxury for those with money and humans to expend. in reality, there are only two things that matter in any fight, what you can do, and what you can't do.
so there will be a point where upgrading ur PC is equivalent to swapping out the SD card or two? probably makes sense to have a separate SD card for GPU.
Wtf, you built a machine that's not even remotely in the same class in hardware specs, and has none of the design features of the Mac Pro and claim you could have built something similar for another $500? I think each of the graphics cards in the Mac Pro alone are more than your entire system.
1. Deny it all before the crazies run amok with unchallenged media coverage of the fire. 2. If wrong, eh, it happens. Apologize, deliver an update, and good will. No one will hate him for it. Just business as usual. 3. If he's right, or it's ambiguous as to what happened, he wins.
There...I fixed it for you...

Can u really lower the oceans by flushing water down the toilet?

Processors and graphics haven't mattered for a long time.
With RAM and SSD upgrades a 5 yr old computer is very fast.
i sold all of my MSFT stock...although surprisingly, the price has been pretty stable.
that's a stupid analogy.

It's public info, and it could help the doc make a decision, so let them use it.
BUT, make them spell out the patient what data they used to make their diagnosis if it was not provided directly by the patient.
at least the first part.

US Civil War, justified? WTF.
Certainly the Iraqi's and Afghani's would call their defense of the US invasion a justified war.

What's wrong with a 3-4 year upgrade cycle?
If you're using the Mac Pro for serious work, 3-4 years is a bit long.
I've been upgrading every two yrs.

They have an issue with unapproved GMOs.
Seems pretty reasonable. Even if politics are at play.
How awesome would a thumb drive with a hardware write lock be?
They exist. Check Amazon.
SD cards have the same.
They make great secure boot drives.
It's a win-win strategy.
