    It's not KDE or Gnome, both are equally bad compared to Microsoft's.... Still worse is the availablity of Drivers for Linux and some "_dick_heads_" are opposing HAL kind of architecture which is putting vendors in a tight spot(whether to open the code or not) and consumers away from linux.
    Now don't moderate it as Flamebait, accept the fact and lets correct it before Redmond folks claim, Linux is history and is fit for valleys museum. I work on Linux but since I couldn't find a wireless driver for my laptop, I am using this f*** XP

    R&D to India ? Good Joke! If he has the balls let him reply what kind of R&D is being done in India ? Give me the Business Unit and the Products. Ask him how many Doctorates and well known Researchers are on his payroll in India. Its a different story that Indians run away from Microsoft and thus has a large pool of Open Source Developers.

    I receive 10 emails of which 9 are junk. I delete them and guess what happens the next time when the page load, those 10 e-mails appear as they are. Now I delete the browser cache and reload, "connecting hotmail" and don't understand where the fuck its trying to connect to.

    An IT manager from WAMU who had been to MS campus to work his strategies to migrate to .NET told me that he was asked by MS's PM to migrate his applications to VC#. Though MS will continue to support VB but are softly asking managers to move towards VC#.

    I don't know a lot about VB but MS seriously is in deep shit with VC especially the language syntax in 2005. Not many liked it. They also didn't support STL.NET which majority of the folks wanted. Is this something new?

    Finally,the outsourcing wave is behind us, its only then when we saw india making headlines everyday. Its the innovation BUG that has bitten corporate America and you will hardly see any slave trading companies like Infosys shine in this. Maybe Indians will because of their knowledge and the education they get in Berkeley and MIT.

    Advertisers who are serious about converting potential customers into customers don't want to risk by diverting the calls to Philipines or India, but rather have them here. If this model picks up their will be a whole new industry. No it will not work the traditional way by paying hefty sums to old sleepy telecom giants but it will be a IP based solution.
