Try it and see what happens! Finder will ask for YOUR password.
So, guy will hack himself? Don'T be fooled by admin group on OS X, nothing happens without OS exactly reporting what asks your password for what in a friendly window, even you are in admin group.
You aren't admin, you are a hybrid poweruser/regular user on OS X. Mac guys did it in innovative way, again.

This crap is gone, it won't try like million times.
If news breaks, I go to cnn.com , news.yahoo.com or news.bbc.co.uk , NOT msnbc...
Also imagine that, they don't have RSS feed! Why? Its open standard! Just figured... Also, I am afraid those morons are afraid of losing MSN news alerts users using msn messenger. I hope not.
I hate google because of some reasons but won't tell them since they hit -1 flamebait for some reason...
Telling about bias at MS, its philosophy even... Years ago, while MS for mobile/ Win CE was hot I remember trying to logon a friend to hotmail wap site for helping him on a very standard Nokia phone, it said "sorry you need microsoft mobile based phone to logon to hotmail"
Not american but I kinda saw "colored, white" stuff at movies it was nothing else.
Oh they somehow lost the mobile phone market, symbian, opera, openwave all over, it allows to logon now.
How can an admin do ANYTHING if the moron secretary click on "naked Brad Pitt" picture(!)
There is a company, Israeli one so I joked them as "nazi", eSafe, believe they didn't like the joke... They produce proactive stuff watches EVERY move of user and the programs, what you get is 10% of CPU usage.
Security you say... What about the reality? E.g. social relations, the OS'es amazing lack of functionality on security etc?
"Keep in mind that XP already had transparency/dropshadow effects well before OS X arrived on the scene. I may be wrong - but I don't remember OS 9 having any of this stuff."
In fact, first Amiga had dropshadows, half brite mode. We even used it (still used) in TV applications like lo res subtitling etc.
I saw/used os 7.6, with a theme manager (Caleidescope?) it made amazing things BUT it was basically fancy bitmap graphics.
OS X uses a hybrid PDF/PS interface can do anything acrobat can. You should see it working.
How many times I will lose karma for saying to Real developers: 'do not take slashdot posters serious about spyware, its just a way to be cool at slashdot'?
There I said again...:) BTW, keep coding, Mac beta 10 player is great but time to code an intelligent installer checks for older versions etc... Also thanks to go native, e.g. not like Mozilla, using system widgets, services...
What makes me wonder is, both companies are highly technical, innovative, "geek" companies and they use "hacker" as a criminal term instead of "cracker".
Nobody figured it out yet? I mean I didn't see anyone mentioning the foul use of the word...
Apple is still ahead. If you have watched keynote, Steve Jobs already showed one step (or kilometer) ahead, directly manipulating/coding GPU for REALTIME effects.
I bet preorders for OS X will open in 1 month or so, when will Longhorn ship?:)
Besides, I am not a coder but I always wondered why directdraw was stuck at 1.0 levels while I used windows...
It took 4 hours to make a damn XP Pro being able to get SP1 today. Yes, only to access SP1!
I can easily say now... Buy a second hand mac, not a top of the line Dell!
Its coming from an exhausted guy, I hope all apologies accepted.
BTW, not using PC for 6-7 months only, it seems worm/spyware/malware crap became _real_ matter in this time. I remember 6-7 months ago, you run ad-aware, delete all spyware and system would be ok... Today, it wasn't the case...
Friend had continuously updated Norton AV even, it didn't help, damn spyware continued to come by...
PC users, especially sub 2 Ghz, think about getting a dual g4 mac, second hand...

I have seen some reporting that Opera 7.5x (latest) crashes all the time on SP2 installed machines.
What about that? Could MS go that low? I bet so since Opera is on every cell phone on damn planet at least...
Check twilightwap.com on your device, its a wml site.
btw, don't put wap or www , its plain twilightwap.com
Knowing from my brothers phone (7650), the newly released Nokias, especially Symbian based ones ship with err.. crap firmware.
You should check the firmware issues on web. Not just for iSync , e.g. 7650 has smtp auth capability after firmware update...

This crap is gone, it won't try like million times.
PS: It was OS'es fault, not Intego's.
You should somehow see printing features of Mac IE (5.2) , excellent...
I admit I use it sometimes just to print stuff...
Besides I won't be shocked if they put same features to IE 7.
If you want such realistic thing , get/play (trialware for limited time) World War 2 online :)
:)
Its a HUGE game and if you ever think your cool LMG can kill 3 riflemans without using combat tactics, you are dead.
I am playing it now, was kind of a gamble since that time trial didn't exist but now it can be tried free of charge I assume.
Meaning "realistic", you can use game as a map to find your way in entire Europe
its at playnet.com
and yes, NO lights used at games virtual night.
As a non american, I can easily say guy looks like those "evil politicians' and "lawyers" we see on Hollywood movies :)
:P
BTW, if you sue me, your grandkids son will see the result
(not saying my country lol)

in fact they lost already...
I am a foreigner, kinda following news...

NO, all his customers will still use win32/64 (if ever ships) and the marvelous IE with ActiveX heaven and will get infected.
Than, they will buy antivirus from Sophos...
You must be dreaming man...
Dear one checking grammar of a +5 funny post...
.sig ;)
Check my

I say realtime fx can be used...
Apple crack pipe? If you have a friend working at tv or something ask what realtime effects mean...
Dear AC, whatever.

See? Read it again...
Wonder how OS X can handle rotating 3d cubes, "genie effect", even jumping dock icons? There...
When I first moved to Mac G5, those fx made me say "oh, what a waste of cpu power"... Until I figured cpu isn't even used more than 1% on such stuff.
Microsoft "photocopied" (no less) another OS X invention.
I don't get why but I can understand... Everytime I defended Real on Slashdot, I got modded troll or flamebait...
Maybe for saying it but will happen again...
Their format is ATRAC3, much better format btw... At least, scalable and been tested... Anyways...
Not infected by NSA, unlike google

My migthy :) Siemens C55 has 320 kb of ram and I bought an application which downloads my IMAP mail and can display attached graphics in monochrome.
Well it costed 15 or 20 bucks (can't remember), they really deserve it.
Seems the story submitting people chose to troll.
:)
Since 90% of phones shipping now has java micro edition built in.
Oh btw coders, its great money you can make
