    Either huge firewall is a western propaganda (post cold war) or it doesn't run right.

    I won't give any names,but I remember I mailed to Wired about that TopMoxie stuff months ago, like you.

    I don't tell there is some conspiracy there, guy(s) couldn't get why its so much evil I bet.

    Oh I remember it was a huge thread on Limewire (semi)offical forums before it was locked down. Than, Ad-Aware forums..

    Mr. Limewire I know you read this,you even post some articles on this story, how you will manage to "close thread" now on Slashdot. heh heh

    Gotta love /. sometimes...

    Oh btw, a detail is missing... You know why those advanced Java programmers able to replace IE_current_url even, selected outdated Microsoft VM? Remember, JRE 2 has to be installed when you install limewire... IMHO, they selected MS VM because non-advanced people having a sense of security which installed firewall will grant something named Microsoft to access to net.

    I am turkish and even I can understand "voodoo" is named after "voodoo magic". Like, it was magic to us those times to see realtime 3d graphics on PC. Its the time you were attending some sort of church chorus and get brainwashed.

    I only thought muslim fundementalism was evil before seeing some people like you.

    I wouldn't reply to such an obvious troll (or if you really mean it, god help you) but seeing this kind of thing on /. pushed me.

    Heh, those "Unreal" days. I remember getting mad to 3dfx as a rendition 2100 user.

    Someone did a glide wrapper for Rendition and 3dfx sued them etc I remember.

    Oh, don'T ask, Voodoo 3000 user now. Thanks to Nvidia (or anyone to blame), I have to rely on 3rd party drivers for getting gamma settings support. On Windows XP.

    I just can't believe that crap, named Limewire could be suggested even.

    Its one of the most evil spyware added product, I don't care if its "open source" or not. Last time, they were caught adding a JAVA SPYWARE!!! to download and guess what? "accidentally", they forgot "opt-in" question for it. Seek the web/usenet for TopMoxie, you'll see.

    XP is an OS, it is not booted from Internet as once Sun/Oracle suggested, so you don't need a "passport" to integrate with it.

    If, MS did a Network based OS, maybe it would be needed but if your OS comes on Cd, its not needed.

    Slashdot is biased sometimes but it doesn't change the fact that some morons like you without a clue bitches about it.

    It forced people to get a passport account. 99% of XP users and 100% of MSN messanger users has passport now.

    And guess what? It has no "revoke account" option like Yahoo etc. For now, MS says it will change.

    If you seek usenet&web, you would see a "beta" Realone version is available for linux (NVM, Win32 one is always beta). Real for some reason, hides it.

    I heard it uses xvideo extension so fullscreen is available too.
