    I can only see tow things coming out of this.... Putin Flying one to wow the crowds and Chuck Norris crashing one in the desert. Nice though, but still, a world where these would be flying around would be rather a dangerous place indeed since most people still haven't mastered driving.

    SO we're hanging around Spielberg and Locas I see. DOn't stop to consider that these works lose much after being "tranmogriphied", but this could also be used to make MSNBC sound like FOX news at the touch of a button. No thanks. It's no longer classical literature once it's been that badly abridged.

    So just because your have the "Firmware" doesn't mean the "Software" runs any better.....agreed. Worth looking into to see what they're using as base to compare, it'll skew anything that's not on their scopes....

    Worked there, liked XP, hate 8, disgruntled about 7, don't even ask about Vista. So how long until M$ tells us it's the most sold and successful OS they've made again ? Took them two years last time to admit Vista was a total bust....sigh. I'm going to go now and play Doom on my Win95c PC....laters !

    Exactly, but how much money will change hands in the process ? How different is this from the Industrialized Defense Complex throwing money out the window on projects they know will probably fail in the long run that make millionaires ?

    Been hearing this kind of management nonsense for too way too long now.... Cloud computing will sooner or later bring down Governments and Companies that choose to have their Data and Infrastructure supported and held by third parties....

    You're going to get flack no matter what you post here, but after twenty five years of IM/IT, I agree with you... Most people are too lazy or non tech educated to get a different browser anyways.... Take that plus the fact that Chrome plugs into all things Google and rips your privacy apart, nevermind the footprint too and I'll stick to Opera and IE, since that gives me speed and compatibility in that order. I can't count the times I've had people bitch because Firefox or Safari or etc wasn't brining up their code properly, but IE did....ugh.

    Excuse your English (épais !) but the whole World doesn't Need" google. I'd go back to Alta Vista and 1995 in two seconds, back then we didn't have the web infested with crap. Google is a phishing scam intended on selling your use and private info to marketers and using it for their own goals as well. So go ahead, mock the other poster, some of us were on here before all this started and did fine.

    WINDOWS 98....what a laugh.....even SE didn't fix it all... You can tell who worked at M$ and who hasn't with that comment.... Millennium cut our support calls in half...95 and XP have been the only M$ OS's decent since 3.11 and seven just plain sucks when it comes to overhead and exploits. Trim it back, give us back an intuitive GUI and stop pandering to the Hollywood and DC powerhouses....
