mundane? office couldn't know electrical draw. support someone had four arc welders plugged in on each side of the building and were running up astronomical bill, you'd say that was mundane?
it's good to bring the hammer down hard on stupid electric car owners who think their being "green" gives them a right to tresspass or skank power.
no, plants under "weightless" conditions act differently than ones in gravitational field. The question is if germination will proceed normally in 1/6 earth g field
you could say that for various sects of any religion including Christianity, different views of "god" ranging from just a concept to a "helpful sprite" to big meanie who has already predestinated some to burn in hell
we send probes including our solar-weather ones there, even inside the orbit of Mercury (Helios A and B for example). But it takes more energy to just reach Mercury than to launch something out of the solar system
indeed, every single employer I'll had in the past 30+ years has used tape, starting with 40MB on a 2400 foot 9 track at 1600 bpi, now we have over 60,000 times the capacity with LTO 6.
yes hundreds of millions of Buddhists do just that. In many Bhuddist countries other gods are rolled into the religion. Many have ancestor whorship. Many revere and pray to the Bhudda himself as a god. Many revere the Dalai Lama as a deity, and to oversimplify his teachings one could say he is telling people how they can become a "god"
your reading comprehension skills are lacking, I only said they had this character as a "deity", which can and does include very very minor ones, and which does not even imply worship, just that they're on a list in someone's religion as being a deity. Aside from most Chinese probably being atheists, of the ones that have a religion most would be Mahaya Bhuddhists, and THAT religion does have the Grandfather Sun on the list of (very minor) deities. QED, you lose.
A Taoist might indeed worship the Sun Grandfather, they have rituals for doing so in their writings. And that minor deity appears in (Mahayana) Bhuddist writings, he's a part of that religion whether average Bhuddist remembers him or not. So he's a part of Chinese religions, even if you had to look up his name
my in-laws are chinese, so I have resident reference at home 8D
Some Chinese people from other asian countries outside China are more into the old myths. They don't worship these characters, but some know the mythologies. The Grandfather Sun (also called Taiyang Shen) is in Mahayana Bhuddist and Taoist texts too.
No, you have not studied orbital mechanics and so make hilarious statements. Let's pretend we're looking at the solar system as a "clock" in your living room, from the north star's direction, looking south. The earth is moving counter-clockwise and is at 6 o'clock, when you launch your rocket "right at the sun". so your rocket picks up speed in the upward, 12 o'clock direction, even while it still has velocity to the right that it got from earth. Your rocket initially moves inside earth's orbit but in direction of say 2 oclock. By the time earth gets to 3'oclock, your rocket has previously crossed earth's orbit and is flying off the clock upward and to the right, past your ceiling and if it hasn't reached solar escape velocity winds up in a cool orbit from up and to the right, down into the dial of your clock, around the center somewhat inside the dial (moving very fast) and then slowing as it goes up and to the right again.
The right way? Against the orbit, before six o'clock we fire to the left and lose most the earth's delta-v, and fall into or near the center. That's the most expensive orbit to make from earth, one that is close to the Sun. Leaving the solar system only takes half the velocity.
From Earth's surface it only takes 16 km/sec to reach escape velocity for Sun (and your rocket can just fall into Alpha Centauri) because Earth's velocity around Sun gives you head start, but from earth's surface it takes 32 km/sec to cancel Earth's orbital velocity and reach Sun.
sorry, but in most the major religions that have Sun as a diety ( Ancient Egyptian, Aztec, Roman, Greek, Chinese, Bhuddist) , he's a dude. Your comets swing "the other way".
sure, but divide the payload capacity of that Long March 3B rocket by the Saturn V's and let me know the number, well over 30 I believe

should monitor plant germination and subsequent growth for months, would be much more useful knowledge

that's funny, because as of yet Chinese only talk of going to moon. they do not have a rocket system with the capacity to achieve that
not illegal to enter a vehicle being used in the commission of a crime in progress
yes this stealing of elecricity was wrong and illegal, electric vehicle owners have no right to plug in whereever they find an outlet.
I agree with the arrest, you don't get to plug in your car or arc welder into someone else's outlet
not true at all, there are many kinds of EMP and some occur in civilian equipment. Lightning makes a type of EMP

there are tape libraries with over 70 drives each; you're not at the high end of use cases

here's a nice summary:

Ri Gong Tai Yang Xing Jun in Chinese mythology is "Grandfather Sun"
first let's see them up their launch payload capacity by a factor of 30 from their current biggest rocket
the USA is the only country to send men to another world. the Chinese talk of walking on the moon in 2025.

shame on you.
The Japanese think it's tofu, the Chinese think it's a wonton
wake up? do you even realize the long list of Western space projects in progress?
