    Sure, in the geological record it lagged so much that warming occurred first then CO2 levels rose. Negative lag. Of course, since 1998 was the hottest year on record, I'm not sure we can say "the earth is warming up a little more each year", but over a scant time range starting with lip blown thermometers to now, if we take all the measurements as equally accurate, I'm sure some nonsense might be fabricated. oh look, it has.

    Fraud and forgery are very old problems, don't need a computer for them.

    Twice as fast? The 0.3 MIPS 8080 vs. a thousands or tens of thousands of MIPS per core processor of today is a much bigger jump. Or we could talk about retrieval speed of 9 track (125 kbytes / sec) vs. Ultrium LTO-5 ( 140 mbytes / second)

    liar, Oracle had nothing to do with the Sparc 64 VII, VII+, VIIIfxe "venus" development. Those are purely Fujitsu's design, Oracle only sell servers such as M using it, they have neither the resources nor brains to design such a thing.

    from the opensolaris web site: OpenSolaris 2009.06 was the last OpenSolaris binary release published by Sun Microsystems and is no longer available for download.

    Your just not paying attention, the New Madrid fault (just as one example) has shook Texas noticeably before, as have other quakes. There is nothing new or unusual going on here.

    Your comment about regulation is nonsense, there is too much importation from China to inspect and regulate, it's impossible. And note we've already had numerous instances of food poisoning and heavy metal contamination in consumer products (found long after the fact of their being let in).

    I'd suggest a more sensible approach, don't do business with China at all. Let their system collapse. If the dollar devalues and forces us to become more self-sufficient, that's a good thing that will dramatically increase employment and internal economy.
