I think there's a need for an OS which has a goal of providing a consistent user interface over upgrades over time. While some changes may be needed over time, most upgrades are simply new eye candy from the marketing department designed to sell more units. It would be great to have an OS which it's goal is simply to remain the same, while staying secure and adding support for new hardware. Most elderly people need to do the same now as they did in 1995, view some web pages, send a few emails. Come to think of it, most people in general that's all they need.

Seems pretty pointless: - Many blogs already use a sub-domain therefore no registration necessary. - How would one countries law (US?) force say Columbia with the .co to their standards. - There's really no affordable way to verify someone's identity, too easy to fake. What would be better maybe would be a public way to identify the trust of a website sort of what pagerank used to be but maybe going a few steps further.

I've known a lot of people who try homeopathic treatments, some of them work but they always seem like a scam. We did a homeopathic wart treatment for my son. It worked great, but the $200 'tincture' was basically just alcohol with some herbs and shit in it. The next time he had a wart on the other foot, we did the same thing but instead bought a 99 cent bottle of alcohol to put on the bandaid and it worked just as well.
