Camfrog. When it was version 3.2, it was just a 4 meg download. Now it's version 5.3, it's nearly 11 megs, and there hasn't been much of any improvement at all. In fact, it runs WORSE, crashes mroe often, and the only thing they did was add the ability to put stupid eyes over your face and a few shiny UI improvements.
Page's Law will cease to be a law when A. Software/code patents are invalidated and B. programmers, thus free from the nonsense of software/code patents, code as efficiently as possible.
After all, some random programmers can make a fully 3D game in 64KB of code. Why can't 'professional' programmers do the same thing for their video chat programs, huh?

I still have a Celeron machine that I use purely for some old school gaming, it's a Win95OSR2 box. It still runs like a damned champ, and does EVERYTHING except hardcore gaming, some flash gaming, and HD video. It's productive enough for me that I still use it.
