I would assume most pilots wouldn't want to fly that low at night.
Targeting a 200 yard radius is usually done by truck when local city government does it. To do it from aircraft you'd need military grade laser guided bug spraying.
No you don't. They could do that all the way back in the 1930s. All you need is a definitive land marker. Talk to a crop duster sometime. They have to hit the crop and not off the crop or they can get into trouble. That's usually a matter of 5'. That's about as good as you're going to get anyhow. They're usually 5-10' off the crop.
The rest of the EU is saying - let's exit too. We're all being screwed from afar and we all know it. There is also not a damn thing any of them can do about it. In fact, each country doesn't even have as many rights as a US State does. It's a mess. Dissolve it and be your own country again. Before it's too late.
Obama's concerns are about as out of date as his 1960s policies that were rehashed 1930s failed policies. Arms race has been underway since the late 1980s.
Time and time again they keep raising the minimum wage, everything goes up and jobs are eliminated. The jobs eliminated are usually at the low end, high school students, minorities. We know this, yet they keep on lying about it. It also eats away at all of our wages.
Of course you do. You were paying attention. She was probably texting and also trying to figure out how to take over the world at the same time. So how could she pay attention?
Not to say this excuses her. Put her in jail like anyone else.
I remember that. Does anyone remember the Feds saying they'd have to review stuff? Ed Meese, Al Haig, guys like that? It was so funny. We all felt they'd have a very low threshold for porn. Either that or they'd all get beer, nachos and have a fun night.
It's legal in the US for parents to give their kids alcohol. That's why the drinking age is 21. You're supposed to teach your kids about alcohol when they're 18. Show them when enough is enough. Let them know that binge drinking can cause life long problems, it can also kill them. I have two kids. One doesn't drink at all, the other knows her limits. Unlike her boyfriend that nearly killed her this last January 1. He had way too much.
Offhand, it sounds like a bad thing Stanford is doing. Let 'em do it. We need fewer entitled stupid people out there.
They can crack the whip now and say that, going forward, the tax laws have changed and Apple should pay more.
However, you can't claim you're owed past money when Apple wasn't hiding anything. They knew what Apple was doing and let it go. This is nothing but theft.
I'm all for fixing the tax laws going forward, but I'm not for killing companies that played by the rules that were in place. Apple can survive this hit, but many companies cannot.
Yea... tell that to the IRS and see how far it gets you. I've seen cases where they had opinions in writing from the IRS and later they said - sorry, that's not the law.... pay up and BTW, here's the interest on top as well. Don't like it - Tough.
Could be way more than you ever wanted to know and you'll have to do some reading to understand this.
Very common misconception. Especially people that read a little law. I know what I'm talking about. Referring to the 14th Amendment by itself tells me you don't. Otherwise, you wouldn't have mentioned it. See a lawyer (not a whacked out crazy one...sometimes known as an ACLU lawyer). Until then, consider:
The Constitution, Federalist papers, USSC Decisions: The Slaughterhouse Cases 83 U.S. 36 (1873) Minor v. Happersett 88 U.S. 162 (1874) Elk v. Wilkins 112 U.S. 94 (1884) Wong Kim Ark Case, 169 U.S. 649 (1898) Perkins v. Elg, 307 U. S. 325 (1939)
As you can see from the intent of the Founding Fathers to the Supreme Court decision that “a natural born” is the child of citizens. A natural born citizen is not the child of an alien. In this there is no doubt. Only the crazy left keep trying to mislead people that don't know any better. The 14th Amendment was intended to make citizens of slaves and that was clear. Otherwise, what are they? Some could technically still be from some other country and not necessarily from some African country. The Arabs took slaves from all around there, even England, Spain, Portugal, Italy. It's the Arabs that came up with slavery BTW. Not "white people."
I'll say Mexican below, however you can also substitute your favorite alien - Canadian, Nigeria (Nigerian Prince with money for you), etc. As for the Constitution applying to foreigners, it depends. I was poking with a stick. The rights that are specified to just citizens, don't apply to foreigners. That's very clear. For example a Mexican national cannot run for office. You'd think all the Constitutional Amendments would apply, however you'd be wrong. For example the 1st Amendment does, I don't think there is any argument on that one by anyone. What about the 2nd Amendment? Can a Mexican buy a gun in the US legally? Hell, I couldn't buy one two states away. Unless my state touched that other state, forgetaboutit.
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT trust online backup. Look at the terms of service and such. Unless you don't care about your stuff, don't use them. I know several people that have lost their machines that way. All they can say is - "so sorry." I advised a woman tech writer to not do that. She was in tears as her laptop was away for over 1 month being repaired. Carbonite has a 30 day retention. Then - DELETE! The laptop came with a new disk drive. I salvaged a lot of her stuff off of an old deleted volume that she meant to have destroyed. Lead a horse to water... Besides, when you upload it someplace, who has access? Do you trust them? Who knows what they're doing with it.
Buy USB mechanical drives, back up to them. Do yourself a favor and check them out from time to time and have multiple copies, and better yet, off site. Sure, you can crypt them. Use a simple password that you'll remember because if you put it in your phone, you may not have your phone anymore when you need it. Sometimes when things go bad, they really go bad. You may have what's on your back and little more. I know people that have lost their whole house. I nearly did. Every month I run a fsck on them just to make sure. They are normally kept in a commercial grade safe. Not a cheapo sams club safe this sucker is over 700 Lbs.
The guys that come up with this stuff aren't the guys doing it. That's the previous guy's point, he was probably thinking they get an idiot to do it (though he can say for himself here if he likes, I don't want to put words into his mouth). That's why he said they aren't that isn't sophisticated. Also, why I was interested in if he had an example of an educated man doing this. Could happen, even educated men do dumb things sometimes. I've looked into it over the years, since the 1980s. You don't see engineers or doctors or educated people doing things like this. Engineers, such as Yasser Arafat would get imbeciles, sometimes a moron to do it. WTH am I talking about? - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... . A lot of people call others names and they have no idea what they are talking about. Now you can insult someone knowing just how stupid you are calling them.
Doesn't take much to get a useful idiot to drive a truck of explosives up to a building. I think that much is clear. Doesn't take much to get a bunch of useful idiots to protest over a justified police shooting either.
All constitutional rights (unless otherwise indicated) apply to US Nationals.
Nope. Go read the bill of rights. None of those amendments say "unless you're not a citizen."
-jcr
Nope, it says we the people. There is a big discussion about this in the federalist papers. The Bill of Rights were put in specifically to say what the government can't do to the citizens. Such as take their guns from them. Such as silencing the press. Such as making them a witness against themselves.
Take the liberal crap elsewhere. You probably also think a child born in the US is automatically a US Citizen as well. That's not true. More leftist fairy dust.
Nobody seems to be mentioning that if the FBI wanted any of our E-mail servers, we wouldn't be asked so politely and we wouldn't be allowed to turn it over when we damn well pleased. They would probably be there at 4 AM, break the door down, shoot the dogs, trample over the children's toys, they may shoot you or at the very least rough you up, put your kids in handcuffs. They'd also take whatever the hell they wanted. Including that 1970s Coleco football game that hasn't even been turned on in decades, after all, it's a computer... sort of. Take whatever they wanted. I understand that can even be silverware. Actual silverware, not the plated crap. Then you might get it back some day. When they're good and ready, maybe.
You can bet that there wouldn't be any FBI agent testifying that you were just very very careless, or any of the horseshit that they said. I don't know anyone that actually believed she should not be in jail. Where it any of us that did anything like she did, they would be at the trial - hang 'em, hang 'em high. There is no doubt, we have a mountain of evidence. Convict and sleep well at night knowing you convicted someone justly. We'd never get out.
You know about the scientific method, don't you? If you have one counter example to your theory, the theory is wrong. We have plenty of examples where it's wrong.
Wow, you sound like those guys who, upon hearing about the dangers of smoking, ask why people who don't smoke get cancer, and then nominate themselves for a Nobel prize. We are fortunate to be graced your intellect.
*WOW* you're fast. Hopefully that's not what your wife says.
No. The scientific method worked. It showed it did cause cancer. The experiments weren't only reproduceable, they were very definitive. Very conclusive. Today we've come a very long way with cancer due to science. Real science. For those that said they've smoked for decades and didn't get cancer - good for them. We know what's in smoke that is breathed in, it's nasty. Only a fool would do it.
It's very disingenuous to make a comparison like that, and you should know it. If you bothered to pull up the link, you can see the news articles, compare that with the NASA data, it shows they're changing the data to fool people like you. Small wonder, they have trillions at stake if you believe it or not.
Funny you mention the Nobel prize. What a disgrace they are. Did you know who *Didn't* get the nobel so Al Gore could get his for a laughable power point presentation? One that's been shown to be wrong over and over again? Irena Sendler. Then they outdid themselves by awarding the Nobel to Obama before he even put his clothes in the white house, for not being GW Bush. If they were to consider him now, I don't think there's any danger he would get the Nobel.
That's what a little knowledge will do to you. You're way in over your head and you don't even know it. Looks like they're removing stuff now. I used to be able to find the paper that Hansen had to admit the 1930s was the hottest decade of the 20th century. He lied about it and got caught, though he claimed it was a Y2K error and not a lie. In my humble opinion, his successor is lying a lot more. That's why every month this year has been a "record." Even featured here on slashdot it's so suspicious, so it's a captain obvious moment. I know true blue cool aid drinking believers believe it.
Did you look at their last graph from 1880 on? That doesn't line up with the CO2 levels worth a damn.
The cyclical variations from PDO/ENSO/etc on top of the secular warming from CO2 explain each peak and valley in the temperature record quite well. It is naive to think that you would have a monotonic rise in temperatures that matched the monotonic rise in CO2. This is certainly not what the models show.
I understand you're not a scientist. However for God sakes, look at the data! Go into the distant past to present! Analyze it! Come up with a theory! You'll see in short order CO2 falls apart as a cause, clearly. Another clue is they want to put people in jail that disagree with man made GW. Classic sign they're wrong and they know it. Otherwise, they'd present real science. You know, using the scientific method. Data, results, you can do it too and come up with the same results.
What's very frustrating to me is I've predicted this for 20 years that their models wouldn't hold up and I've been right. They continue to fail as long as they're based on CO2.
Wonder why I haven't been responding? I have a recipe to save anything from you off to the side. I don't even see it. I came across this one by chance. So I figured I'd try to enlighten you again even though I'm sure I failed. You have a really big problem. You have to overcome those stubborn articles from the past that show MMGW is bullshit. Good luck with that.

Not necessarily. We could do it with Space Based Power. They can beam down the energy via microwaves.
Another example of Ready, Go, Set. ... then he says 'Doh!

That's just not true.
Ok, I'll bite. Why do you think that?
It's a known fact that Obama doesn't pay women in his white house as much as men. Let's start there instead of with other people's money.
Nobody seems to be mentioning that if the FBI wanted any of our E-mail servers, we wouldn't be asked so politely and we wouldn't be allowed to turn it over when we damn well pleased. Not even close.

It is naive to think that you would have a monotonic rise in temperatures that matched the monotonic rise in CO2. This is certainly not what the models show.
Here's a neat tool you can use to explore this. Set CO2 to 2.4 and PDO to 0.13 and you already have a pretty good match to the temperature record.
I understand you're not a scientist. However for God sakes, look at the data! Go into the distant past to present! Analyze it! Come up with a theory!
