And if you go back further, you'll see we've had a swell time recently. Check out - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... for example. Could go on and on. Check out - http://www.livescience.com/143... to understand that we're really returning to where we were about 1000 years ago.
Did you look at their last graph from 1880 on? That doesn't line up with the CO2 levels worth a damn. I know, it's science. Requires thought.
You know about the scientific method, don't you? If you have one counter example to your theory, the theory is wrong. We have plenty of examples where it's wrong. Even if you throw the data prior to the 1920s out, there is the fact that the 1930s was the hottest decade of the 20th century. Even if you throw that out and consider the past 30 years. To a real scientist like myself, this is all very clear even by inspection.
Yes, we are warming, isn't due to CO2. Is it man? Could be in part, find the cause(s) first then we can consider if it's man or mother nature. Off hand, it's looking like mother nature. Can we do something about it? Maybe. Let's all agree it's not CO2 first and look for some real causes. Stop the politicizing (money making out of BS) of science. We have plenty of other BS to deal with already.
HP denied me employment, funny enough, for being too young. I never filed charges - Who cares if a kid didn't get a job? No court case there. Older people LOSING their job because of age? Now that's something a lawyer dreams for all night.
Nor could you file charges. You haven't proved yourself. You're just a kid. Being over 50, I have a long resume and accomplishments. These guys have a long record at HP. They were let go simply because they were over 50. Might as well had been because they were black, or a woman, etc. Discrimination sucks. I've had to deal with it all my life. Not that I complained about it. However I know it has happened to me.
Happened to my father-in-law. He hit 52, that was it. Nobody would hire him after that.
There is absolutely no good reason why apple's stock should be where it is. One day, people will realize that and I have a feeling it'll come crashing down.
They can't even decide if they want an earphone jack or not.
You need to change your tv channel. Look up what a madras is sometime. Understand what they do to people.
Technically, he's both by the way. Once a muslim, you're always one. They'll tell you that. By him saying he's a Christian, he's also an infidel. That's the wacky thing about Islam. Thomas Jefferson published the Koran when he was President and sent it out so people would understand what it's about.
As for Obama being a muslim, we know he was educated in Indonesia. Nobody can attend a school there and not be a Muslim. Converting out, that makes him an Infidel. You probably know how they feel about infidels. I don't see them bringing that up, ever. Just sayin'.
As for Kenya, that's a joke. So much of a joke I almost expect him to tell us he really was born there soon, then laugh. That's a joke, Son!
I know it's asking a lot, did you RTFA? You missed the part where they said these are new, never seen before by the FBI e-mails. They are considering them now. Not that this will matter any. She's above the law. She'll make a great Despot. Might want to look up that word by the way. It'll be used a lot if she manages to get elected.
She had a little program called "make money now." It sent out these little e-mail messages telling people they would get a bunch of money, usually $100K or so if they just sent her the $5,000 to process the paperwork.
Remember when Bill was POTUS? She was required by court to cough up her law firm records? Eventually when it was just about over they claimed they found all of these records on a table in the family residence in the White House?
Delay, omit, lie, same OLD Hillary. That leopard won't change her spots.
Seems like Ubuntu is becoming the cockroach of Linux. They don't care about security, do crazy crap, it's junk. Why are companies using it when they know places like the Government and companies can't use it for that reason?
Yea, I'm a bit bitter because some good stuff is out there, only on Ubuntu though. For that reason I can't use it.
Back in the 90s the license was an issue. It's not the same now.
Exactly. I'd like to see gnome thrown away. Every time I use it I wonder - WHY! Why are they using gnome instead of KDE. Why do they continue to throw resources at it?
At least set something up for us advanced users so we don't have to deal with the idiot stuff.
Google aught to fund someone to look at Oracle and their practices. I'm sure they're breaking a bunch of laws.
First thing that comes to mind is their Exadata product with Oracle Enterprise Linux. They didn't even bother to remove the/etc/redhat-release file, which is required. This tells me they don't even bother check the law or anything else.
From the records that we all have access to it's clear CO2 is a symptom and not the cause. You always see an incresae in heat before the CO2 rises. The CO2 rising is because things tend to live better in warmer temperatures.
Just look at their own data that starts at 1880. You see a dip, it's actually colder prior to the 1920s. Check the CO2 record. Even a high school student, no even an elementary school student can conclude CO2 doesn't cause warming. Not hard. Look.
Need to know when people are bullshitting you. Look up scientific method. Know it. Theory, supporting data and if any data falls outside of your theory, the theory is wrong. We have plenty of data to show CO2 as the cause is wrong. Therefore, the theory must be wrong.
I've been watching for decades where technical people, the brains create things. The Sales people take home big bucks. They're the ones that have no skill. Sometimes all they have is a short skirt and look good.
It's high time the people that actually do the work get paid.
To the subject matter, it's a ruse. They come over, they're not that good though they're cheap. Some of them are good bullshit artists. They should discontinue the h1b program.
We need to get rid of this thought. It's not going to happen. I'm a pilot and I can tell you the sky is already way over crowded. The last thing we need are a bunch of vehicles in the sky to further crowd it. It would also slow stuff down. Jets would take longer to get to where they are going, just like when you have too many cars on the road it slows down. Sometimes to a crawl.
Popular since the 1950s, it's just not going to happen.
I've seen it a bunch of times. People still want to use the old stuff. I use edge, and unfortunately IE. Certain sites I use have to not only use IE, it has to be a certain version or the Microsoft back end won't work. Standard Microsoft crap. So fragile.
We're not somehow backwards just because don't use fucking metric.
Well, umm, actually we are. The only countries in the world that don't use the metric system are the United States, Liberia, and Myanmar.
So yes, we're about as backwards as it gets in that respect.
And France, Germany, and many other countries. Matter of fact, Airbus and many others. It's around more than people think. https://www.quora.com/Why-are-...
There really is nothing special about metric, except it's the base 10. We now know that the whole basis of a meter was supposed to be 1 millionth of the distance between the North Pole and the equator is wrong. So it's clearly just a made up system, by the French. Imagine that, using a French standard. I've heard things like it's more accurate, and such. Nope, all the measuring systems are the same in accuracy. More data points, consider temperature, Farenheight has more.
Personally I don't care. I have both sets of tools. I can go between them without much thought. Still kind of a pisser when I pick up a 10, 13 or 15 and it's not that. I have to get the standard socket (3/8, 7/16 and 1/2 are the usual suspects, then there is the 8mm and 1/4"). I suppose Metric is easier for people with an IQ below 100. I'd say even an idiot could do it, however I've met honest to goodness idiots. Their grasp on things is very light. Most of life gets by them. Sad really.
Would be nice if we'd all just use the same thing. Don't care which, just pick one.
Imagine you're in your new car with your wife and ask where the nearest Mexican beef place is and Siri/Cortana change into their sexy voice and say - well I'm right here big boy! Let me take over the controls of your electric seat.
Wow, sounds like you've had a tough time. Maybe you just have really bad people skills and they decided to stick it to you? I've rented cars, trucks, boats, construction equipment, heavy construction equipment, even aircraft. I've crossed state lines, even told them about it. Heck, rented one way to another state, no problem at all. I've always returned it filled with gas. I've never had a problem, at all.
I remember one time I went to rent a car and someone had backed into it before I rented it. Caught on initial inspection, noted. No problem after that.
I remember a U-haul truck I rented probably 30 years ago. It had a bunch of little metal stickers on it with claim numbers next to damage. Always wondered what that was all about. Still, no problem when I returned it.
I always wave the rental insurance BS. I happen to live in one of the states where my insurance covers me no matter what I drive, even in another state. Check with your lawyer, if you have one or you can look it up.
Looking at the 8 most powerful to make landfall, six of them have been since 1998.

Nothing new, Just the political correctness BS is new. Ignore history at your peril.
I know, funny. I forsee a cost of doing business increase up there. Probably $1.00 a ride. They just have to be careful to not raise it 20 cents.
Oh no, we were going to raise it $1.20 but you stopped us. We just raised it $1.00.
Governor - Ok, better not have raised it to pay us our tribute.
Democrats... what the hell were you thinking when you supported Hillary?
Republicans... what the hell were you thinking when you supported Trump?
Me - what the hell were either of you thinking for supporting either one of them!
Might want to RTFA. It's ABC news.

I have a low battery.
No problem. We have a nice crate of fully charged cell phone juice boxes. Now, let's strip. You'll be riding high to night.
Instead, just install cygwin on Windows. Big improvement.
And they wonder why people grow to despise lawyers. She should be taken out back and hit by a clue-by-four. Because she hasn't a clue.
So how come I can't recover from my Motorola Moto that was hit by stagefright while connected to Verizon, while paying for Verizon service?
I'm out $600 for this LG phone.
