"Think a DNA scanner embedded in the lip of your bottle reading all 3 gigabytes of your base pair genetic data in a fraction of a second, fine-tuning your individual hormonal cocktail in real time using our patented Auto-Drink(TM) technology, and slamming a truckload of electrolytic neurotransmitter smart-drug stimulants past the blood-brain barrier to achieve maximum optimization of your soon-to-be-grateful cerebral cortex"
"irrevocable acceptance of the Google Gulp Terms and Conditions, which do include the possibility, however remote, of hideous genetic mutation resulting from your consumption of this product. We're pretty sure you won't die, though. "
And this is a better prank that google has done in the past.
This is rediculous, I value my privacy. I am starting to get ready to apply for colleges next year and I don't want big brother knowing everything about me and what I do in college. They are propably going to use this to create a terrorist watch list or some stupid list that has no bearing in real life.
The shuttle served its mission but is ending its useful life now. NASA should have started ten years ago thinking about a new system but they thought they could keep extending the life of the shuttle. Which they can but at what cost. Right now space shuttles would be more cost effective as museum exhibits than anything else.
There has been some good stuff coming out of the space shuttle and space station but I would rather see a permanent colony on the moon, that is something that could truely benefit man. And it would be more cost efficent than a space shuttle in the long term.
Don't make all Windows users sound incompetent. I am a Windows user and I have backups of all my data and most of my passwords are eight characters and alphanumeric.
The thing about this is that if you have access to the laptop, you will be able to crack it. It is just a matter of time.
They need to be more responsible for the data they collect. Why do you need to carry around thousands of SSN and nearly enough information to steal their identities.
So is this the direction math is going now, to obscure concepts few people have practical application for. This is why over the last couple of years there has been a decline in people majoring in math because it is boring. And on top of it there is no real incentive at best they can get some prize few people(in the general populace) have ever heard of.
Does Congress have nothing better to do than promote the interests of their major political contributers. When will Congress do something sensible like repeal the Patriot Act or even No Child Left Behind. These are some real concerns of the people. By people I do not mean large international corporations.
God forbid that Microsoft creates a OS for this, I wonder how long it will take a hacker or someone with too much free time on their hands to break into this system.
It is the power of the purse. These industries and companies pay millions into politics just so they can get special consideration in situations like these.
I want to know about the costs of this, and the relative power here because if I need to be with ten feet to use it at 100Mbit/s then there really is no point.

The same thing was happening when gmail initially was given to blogger users. The large influx of people slowed down the servers a lot then and they did not really handle it too gracefully. This time google has gone through the change much better (or at least I haven't expirienced many slow downs).

The jokes only on you if you insult the Bush administration.
