    got a question here.. if the builds have debug code in them already, then what is the purpose of this: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/experime ntal/debug/seamonkey-win32d.zip which is a debug build for win32...posted on jan25...is there a difference?

    has anyone who preordered quake3 received their "limited edition" box yet (and the other packaging)?? if i'm going to shell out 55 bucks for this and not the 40 i could pay for the win32 version at best buy, i at least want the cool box!

    For some, conjuring up these stupid ideas is the only income they get. They had better protect what they own if this falls through, or they won't own anything.

    they claim that the market will "dry up" now..well i would like proof! to make such a claim, won't the lawyers have to *proove* that this will and currently does have an effect on the DVD market?

    if i were one of the people going to court, i would ask this. i would really like to know...enlighten us lawyers!

    3dfx, nVidia, and Matrox cards are already working in XF86, so there is no point in devoting the time, nor the energy into developing an accelerated 3d server. I don't know who will buy this. If you pay more for the software for a card...you got something wrong in your head!

    $100 for a voodoo3 2000 already running Quake3 quite nicely, or $100 for a *commercial* 3D server...do the math.

    got everything i ordered. got my "you are dumb" shirt from thinkgeek, quake3 from loki (minus the box...where is it guys?), but i did cancel my order from egghead and that wouldn't have gotten here, doesn't matter anymore.

    one last thing; i heard my cousin (7 years old) talking about his new N64 and how he didn't like it because the games suck. once again proving we don't care how great the graphics are as long as it has good game play...be creative guys!

    I saw this on the local news, and I was wondering where in the hell they got these figures from. They were doing some holiday shopping story or something of the like, and brought up a screen showing all the "problems" of e-commerce. I was mad because they didn't give a source of the info, because i wanted to look into it...i guess i know now.

    I don't know if anyone has posted this or not... But here it goes. From reading the DXr2 mailing list mailings, supposedly it costs $5000 for the DVD specs which would be needed to make the *complete* dvd driver. I guess that the IFO files need to be decoded which contain the chapter, sound, and other important info...i think. I presume that if they have an *internal* employee, then they could more easily make this code available

    What's next? Will we all have embeded GPS-like locators so they know who's being a good little student? What do we need identification for anyway?? do you need proof i am?

    Here in kansas, our school board keeps fixing problems with problems! They make us all suffer for the two kids who's mommies called to say we can't do that. School is getting ridiculous in every aspect... I used to call it a prison, but now i would be surprised if we are all wearing those bright orange uniforms sometime in the near future...all walking in straight lines (mindless droids with no individuality).

    This is quite interesting...if i had a sh!t pot full of money, i would do the same thing. I think this is the perfect next step for people who drive those gigantic Navigators and Land Rovers and all those BIG cars...they need yet another BIG thing to take focus off of their small...business mishaps...

    The difference betweeen a machine and man is that a human has emotions...but what are emotions? Biologically, emotions are created through a synapse either firing or not...hmmmmm sound familiar? Binary code 011101, on or off. Just a thought, and by the way i'm only 15 and don't have too much knowledge in the field of biology but i read a book on consciousness that related the mind to a binary computer...
