    and started using seamonkey, i dont like firefox's new user interface, the stop & refresh button is now embedded on the right hand side of the address-bar and no way to move it back (i want it back to the left). and i notice now when i close firefox that artifacts stay in memory so if i relaunch firefox again a dialog pops up telling me firefox is already running.

    maybe when i get some new hardware and install a newer release of Linux i will give firefox another try, but until then i got to keep this old junk working the best i can

    the homeless have a right to drink some booze just like anybody else, maybe they have arthritis or a tooth ache and a little booze is the only way to find some temporary relief, so fuck you if you think having a home qualifies you to have a drink while being homeless disqualifies someone from having a a little temporary relief from the pain and struggles of life.

    you might find yourself homeless someday, with no opportunities to improve your situation, then what?

    i give up on it, but i liked it enough to have hope for it, right now i just use the lightweight window managers like Openbox, IceWM, and others, Xorg stays out of my way for the most part, i have noticed Slackware-14.1 Xorg sort of odd compared to previous Slackware versions on this same PC so i am sticking with 14.0 for now while waiting for Slack's next release after 14.1 (14.2? 15.0?)

    i would disconnect the nation from the rest of the world and turn the nation's internet connection in to a nationwide Local Area Network, so the people of my nation can communicate with each other by the various methods (audio, video, text) and have a few world wide connected computers that filter out all the spam and malware, and once checked it can be circulated on the national LAN.

    should have the source code released as GPL-3 so communities can grow up around them, i would like to see that happen to all of Microsoft's obsoleted OSs and software, win9x, 2k, xp, etc...

    maybe give the companies a short grace period between the software being declared obsolete and the release of the code like 3 years, and the same for any other obsoleted software

    is full of half-assed quality adware, this is based on personal experience with an android tablet i bought recently, for example there was no app for taking screenshots, so i search the Play Store for screenshot apps, instead of finding a couple to choose from i find dozens of them and most require i root/unlock my tablet in order to function, i think i will wait until i can get a more open build of arm tablet so i can install Debian on it or just throw in the towel on electronic gadets and live like an Amish farmer

    since the US Govt wants to take the internet out of ICANN's hands and hand over control of the internet to an international body, plus the NSA has turned everything that has internet connectivity in to their own spy tool, this makes me want to abandon the internet and cancel my ISP account and pull the plug on the cable box to my house, and next just go almost completely off the grid by reducing my utilities to water so i can use the toilet, bathe & shower and do laundry, and the only electronic devices i will have is a battery powered AM/FM/Shortwave radio and an LED lantern
