    I agree with you, but the security training does say otherwise. You're supposed to not say yes or no, then report it, and do what you're told, which may or may not include a sting operation.

    They ride on military satellites, run by the Army. Seeing as how they use frequencies licensed to the government, I'm not sure he would be able to just buy something off the shelf to even access them.

    And you miss his point. One system capable of putting out different smells, such as the concept of smell-o-vision. Not a bunch of people polluting the air with their own smells at the same time, like your(and probably everyone else's) local mall.

    Every Mac I've used always had "focus follows mouse" enabled. With the way I have my linux boxes set(and I'm pretty sure this is the default), focus stays, but you can scroll in other windows even if they don't have focus by having the mouse over the area and scrolling. Note this doesn't cause a change on which window has focus. I like the linux way of handling it better.

    no need for the vertical stuff. They make contacts for astigmatisms that are just slightly weighted to keep them proper. The only time that's a problem is when your head is on its side for an extended period of time.

    my eeepc 1201N (yes, recently released, so not sure what that makes to your stats) can sport up to 8gb ram. I'll upgrade that part when I upgrade the hard drive to solid state, which may be in a month or two.

    It's ok. He wouldn't even be able to work at such a company because they would not hire him because he doesn't code in his spare time. Looks like that "issue" solved itself.

    I second vimperator, I've been using it for quite a while now. I first started using it because it was the easiest way to maximize the amount of screen real estate for the actual web page, putting all the menu options out of the way. I don't use all the shortcuts, but it's definitely my favorite plugin.

    I do admit, it's weird. We convert lbs(weight) to kg(mass) based on the earth gravity. It's why you would weigh less on the moon, with iirc 1/5 earth gravity. In normal everyday terms, the average person will thing pounds and kilograms are both the same.
    It's even worse when you've got those balance scales that really do measure mass, but put it in terms of pounds.
