If you're trying to measure the probability that something exists, it helps to have a scale.

  2. Nope. Sorry. Fail. You can't wait for the share value to plummet, panic, and then introduce something that everyone has been crying out for, and, in reality, should have been there from the start.
    SAD.

  3. OK, and what is a 'shield' in this sense?

Voice menus are my favourite part of the call. I can't wait for more of them. I always get disappointed when the robot tells me I'm about to speak to a human. "Rest assured, your call has advanced in the queue." Frowny Face.

  5. Australia may be willing to violate human rights. Maybe. Someday. In the future. It's possible.

  6. Yes.
And as for the unrelated comment after the question, yes it is. I agree.

It's a shame that all you need to switch service providers is a few personal details.

  9. I was originally all for wireless charging, but I found it really didn't cut the mustard when I was after the fastest charge possible.

  10. I was actually surprised at how little size difference I noticed going from an S6 to a Pixel XL. I was expecting not to like it, but now I'm not sure how I'd feel about downsizing.

  11. The fingerprint scanner on the Pixel is one of my favourite features. It's so simple and natural.

  12. I'll give them a look. Thanks!

  13. The only size that matters to me is that of the unremovable bloatware. Looks like I'm sticking with a Google Pixel.

Well lets face it, psychics are normally stalking you for information. Either that, or just making generic guesses until one of them is a match for your situation.

16GB for HOW MUCH?! $2,499?!!!? Wait... maybe it has a 10K display. That would account for it.

  16. Why is anti-Starbucks graffiti necessary? As a non-American, I've always wondered why the coffee alone wouldn't be enough to keep the people away?

That didn't bother me as much as reducing 80 sessions down to 30 minutes: How to compare two numbers when they measure different things?

Slashdot is apparently not a tech-oriented website.

They used to have eighty 20sec sessions. Now they need 30min, but we sold them a new bit of hardware so that's the important bit.
