SOE's is soe scare of the EMU that they have nightmares about it. TheEMU makes them look like liars " We can not run a pre CU server". In a related story, SOE is going to reboot all the EQ1 servers . I even took to Andy Zaffron who kindly took my phone call on my game ban for forum misuse and stood behind his co-workers. I am not suprised . If you listen to Law in Virtual Worlds on http://www.nyls.edu/pages/3903.asp Mr Zaffron can be quoted to say concerning the EULA ( that and the TOS are altered numerous times to fit their needs) " IF you do not like our EULA , go play some other game".
With the recent mismanagement of SWG and the flipflop on selling vitual goods with the Station Exchange, Customers are now playing other games and SOE has NOone but themselves to blame.
Sony Online Entertainment only claim to fame WAS Everquest but now that WoW has over 2 millions users and EQ 1 and 2 only have about 750k subscribers ( about 20% of them are all staion access Duplicates), SOE most to anything in its power to secure its faling product.

I played EQ for 3.5 years and yes I like it but my style of play ( mostly daytime and breaks for family) was not conducive to leveling.
I then switched to Star Wars Galaxies at server start and I vowed to make a name for myself there , Well to make a long story short I did and because I used the SWG forums in my roleplay I was prema-game banned from any and all SOE online games ( I was not really all that bad) for alledged forum misuse.
So when SOE has to bow to the fact that they are not all that anymore well what would you do if you were me, I tell ya - Muhahahahahaha Love that Jestor! WoW I feel good!
