... sigh... Do you EVER listen to people? A) there is more to gun ownership than killing people B) outlawing guns will do NOTHING to ensure that the police will be better armed than whoever they're about to encounter. You know, the whole "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" thing.
That doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't function as a standard HID device. I would love to see them port this to linux, if it doesn't already work. I would buy one JUST to support the company for making a linux version.
Here's the thing:
most of the time, those small, single people who get sued have dynamic IPs. MD does not, almost guaranteed. It would be pretty stupid to give a 9gb/s links a dynamic ip address, which means that the ambiguity inherent in dhcp-assigned ip addresses is gone.
Also, the RIAA and MPAA have sued people who, in one case, were dead, and in another, didn't even own a computer. They just keep pulling names out of their asses.
What good is going for the budget you want when you know that the president will veto it, because war is god.
In other words, even they might be democrats, they know there's no point in going against the president.
Yes, but i have exactly one phone. An old treo 650 with a borked P key. If I have to choose between not going to the park or paying for another, LESS FUNCTIONAL phone so that I can keep in touch at the park, guess which one I'm gonna choose?
Who wants to bet that these people have a 2.4GHz cordless phone in their home? That operates on almost the EXACT same frequency as wifi. If they're not 'allergic' to those, they're not allergic to wi-fi. Chances are, these are just some gullible idiots who heard that wi-fi 'emits radiation'.
If they're that afraid of the little bit of radiation emitted by a wireless router, then they should be more afraid of a microwave and tv.
I don't mind if tools are being used - but when the company that someone buys something from gives them a defective product (as in windows, since it seems that this takes advantage of security flaws) and then goes and gives someone else a way to exploit the defects in their own product, that's just wrong.
And why, exactly, are WE paying for something WE opposed? Why are we paying for things to make the rich richer? That's WRONG. I don't care who you are; if you have a soul, you know that that's wrong!
Our support was garnered with lies.
Because enough people like it in the main product?
For this test, I believe that all tests ARE run under the same conditions (same flags) on every machine.
... sigh...

Dear SoupIsGoodFood:
we don't need you anymore
A proper benchmark program for linux. Trying it now :D

Hurrah? O.o
This sounds interesting, at least. I wonder if it works on linux. Seriously. Does it work as a standard HID device?

Maybe this will stop some of the ridiculous patent trolling.
That's not really a sign of loyalty. the dog thinks "Oh my god, it's that guy!! He gives me food!! Yay!!"

Kinda like how the question most likely to be answered in any e-mail is the last one...
I thought that was in the constitution... nothing supersedes constitutional law.

Not stupid, just never thought about it. Literally. NEVER gave a thought to it.
Holy shit, I never thought about the fact that a sales is a 'double tax'.
Isn't this illegal, since only the feds can regulate interstate commerce?
Everyone, because they'll probably settle on something open, such as Linux, OpenOffice, and MySQL.
If this happens, will it have as big of an effect on the MSFT bottom line as I hope/think?
yeah, thing is, if I wanna buy, say, a cd of Dvorak "New World Symphony" I can't go to a store around here.
Yeah, not that easy for me, sorry!
