    Cops, a lot of them (6), in the park arresting some guy.
    I watched for a while from the bike path. Then I moved up and started recording.
    Not for any particular reason, mostly in an effort to irritate them.
    That didn't work. Although I got some looks.
    Eventually they moved the guy off up the path, so I carried on past them.
    as I passed I said, "Remember the G8?" 1000 cops with no ID beating up civilians? It's us against you now."
    Two or three of them wished me a nice day.
    I think I'm going to make this a regular practice whenever I see a cop.
    Hopefully it will make them think.

    I have to say though, Ottawa cops are pretty proper.

    Perhaps some nerds got injured? While the plebs are rather uninteresting, the Scandinavian countries have a rather high concentration of nerds so this would likely affect us.

    And hot chicks. I've been to Oslo, it's absolutely stupefying how may hot chicks there are there. Any news about Oslo is interesting.

    I am more than happy to help the currently unemployed Americans by paying my share of taxes. I view this as a price I pay for the better living conditions and greater job satisfaction.

    Most of the people in this thread, it seems, have the attitude of the corporations. Give me all the money and to hell with everyone else.

    That's why the US is the mess it is today.

    As for US Social security, it's stable as long as they don't fuck with it. And they will, there's money in there, it doesn't matter that it's self sufficient, we can fix that!

    I feel powerless because of the following:

    1. My Privacy invaded day by day
    2. My Government and the US government is massively corrupt, doesn't tax companies
    3. The unjust succeed while the moral wither
    4. Everyone thinks they are right so nothing gets done

    While this is all very true, and set to become much worse, if you just take this little pill, you won't mind it at all!

    If the DOJ doesn't get its way, I can see the government having laws changed to allow imprisonment until the data has been cracked. I don't know why they haven't done it already.

    Biology is useful to understand, but if you think it's the basis for a civilized society you're insane.

    Pretty sure I didn't say that, in fact I don't believe that the topic even came up. If you're going to make things up out of the blue, and imply that they are other peoples thoughts, don't expect anyone to take you seriously.

    Biology OTOH does have a use for civilized society. You're correct, rape is an imperative, and civilized society does not allow it. Civilized society has evolved to form protective groups that prevent us from such primitive actions. This is why we rule the planet.

    Bell Canada was fined recently for lying in advertising about how much their services cost. They were levied a fairly huge fine, several millions of dollars. They refer to this as an "Administrative" cost.

    Internet in Canada is expensive and slow, and it will stay that way until the CRTC stops pandering to Bell and Rogers.

    Be careful not to confuse 'promise' with 'intent'. The US administration does not litter their promises with words about what is really going on.

    Shutting down? Hardly. Aren't there exciting new research programs into how to turn shit and piss into delicacies? What could be more exciting?

    I believe the program (If I remember correctly) researched how to turn piss into Coors Light or Bud. Hardly a delicacy, or even that much of a conversion.
