    nope, we had, and mostly still have one monopolistic telecom company owning all of the pipes.
    New internet offerings are coming in thru third party wires/optical cables.

    How about Romania? or Poland? because Im paying ~$20 for 250Mbit and my friends from Romania $15 for 1Gbit.

    In the civilized world (UK for example) you are prohibited from lying in your advertisements. For example Apple once claimed to sell the most powerful desktop computer, and was promptly fined and ordered to cancel their advertising campaign because of lies.

    Want more video compression scams? Check out V-Nova Perseus - they promise 3x smaller files than h.264, but somewhat independent tests show 20% bigger files at same quality :) and the real kicker is Perseus is really just reencapsulated h.264 video with resize filter on top :D multi million dollar scam, they even scored one Sat TV network contract.

    not really, the very first semiconductor part in charger is a diode bridge rectifying voltage(doesnt give a flying f about frequency), after that is active PFC and then proper DC-DC

    cable companies have fantastic metrics, there is a reason cable card died - they want you to use their spying always logged in cable box. It tracks every channel switch, every mute, every volume change.
