    you CANT, changing the number DirectX reports back just so you can run HALO 3 under XP is not the same as having DirectX 10

    The hemmoraging will stop when people start forgetting that they've been told (by someone else, usually the media) that the economy is "bad" and go back to buying

    "people" dont have money, sure they can get cheap credits, but credits are to blame for the crisis in the first place. America is not producing goods any longer, you all live off forein credits (mostly China). This living on debt cant go forever you know, you will go under, hiperinflation and all.

    Javascript is actually a nice and clean language.

    The reason why it has a bad reputation is because of "web developers" writing generally horrible hacks with it. Nothing to do with the language.

    no, it listens for certain KIND of information to be send, particularly association. In order to get that info you just have to disconnect a client, sniff for 5 seconds and go home.

    you can clearly see huge lag on TrueMotionâ(TM)s youtube videos :( by huge I mean 10-30ms, that is huge for gaming.

    not in america, sex is more dangerous than drugs and violence. For example "Super High Me" has same rating as "Saw" movies just because dude smokes pot and is happy about it.

    1 pass of zeroes we got around, but we got around 80% IIRC. 3 pass was lower(0,1,random), somewhere in the 10-20% range, depending on the software used, but most of the "recovered" data was garbled beyond use

    I call BS, how exactly were you able to recover OVERWRITTEN data with a software only solution?

    both cars died on the track, first one ran out of joice after 50 miles, second one lost power due to engine overheating.

    and according to Top Gear test they last ~50 miles, NOT 200 miles declared by Tesla. That is _if_ the car doesnt die before those 50 miles (it did in Top Gear test).

    I wonder if the yellow dots on laser printers are made by firmware or is it build into the thermal component. Getting rid of them is one good reason for open hardware printer.

    I just got a pay cut at work, I may even lose my job if things don't turn around, and my mortgage is now worth more than my house. Not really in a spending mood right now.

    First and only time I heard about this game was that trip to space gimmick. Going to their page there is not a single gameplay Video you can actually watch (instantly as in flash player). Sure, you can download 600MB file if you are feeling desperate for info, but most people will just skip it and look for a game that is not ashamed of how it looks.
