    Unless they put in redundancy, for example, 425 for storage and 425 for redundancy. Of course thats going to reduce the amount of storable data.

    actually an interesting question. Now that they are putting so many more apps on these systems, including a web browser from what i hear, mp3 playback etc.... Wont that open up exploits for virus writers and hackers? Imagine an xbox exploit, that would be pretty scary getting hit with a DDOS from 10 million XBOXEN

    Not sure if this has been implemented yet. Or even how to do so, but I think a cool Google hack would be a graphical trace route program simillar to NeoTrace.

    Not sure how it would make money, but would be cool as hell with those satellite maps.

    Its funny how much faith people are putting in Sony's specs considering 1. The cell chip doesn't exist yet 2. Sony's track record of bullshit, i.e. emotion engine type crap.

    Having a weak dollar isn't all bad, it helps to boost exports, helping foriegn consumers purchase our goods at a cheaper price maybe this will help the XBox sales overseas. I do know what you are saying though. One of my friends is canadiaan, and hes always complaining about how its costing so much more to pay off his student loans as of late.

    if they actually showed someone playing the system instead of questionably enhanced eye candy. The only undoubtedly real time thing i saw were the glasses with water. The XBox unvailing may have been a let down, but at least they showed some actual gameplay.

    Yeah, 2 editorials comprises "most". "Most" people i've talked to are actually pretty excited for the XBox, myself included. If you are going to generalize at least point to something other than a single editorial.

    I remember the backwards compatabilty/Final Fantasy argument being the mantra of just about every ps2 or nintendo fanboy. I'm sure this has something to do with the influx of game designers who have been getting snatched up by microsoft in recent months. Now if RockStar games moves, or even offers on both consoles, that would be a death blow.

    I think you missed the Genisis, came out at pretty much the same time as TG16. they smoked nintendo out of the gate and pretty much owned the market for the next 3-4 years.
