I don't react to poison whatever either. My brother was the same way for years and years, but eventually developed a sensitivity to it. His doctor said that erratic large exposure to allergens can eventually produce sensitivity. So don't seek it out and show off like I did.
Have you ever been to a farm? I have, and found the dirt to be made up of unburnt hydrocarbons (from ancient tractors), dog poo, cigarette butts, sputum, and bird droppings. Also, bull/cowshit, horseshit, chickenshit, goatshit, and peopleshit. I think that's the point, though. If it were 100% pure organic humus it wouldn't have the beneficial effect.
Does anyone remember the schemes where you'd install adware on your machine and "GET PAID TO SURF THE WEB!!!"? My poor friend fell for this and after 3 months her PC became unusable. She did get a check for $2.33, but it wasn't worth it.
We should just infect Carney's machine in order to leverage his whatever. He'll stop complaining about not enough ads on the intarweb.
You'll pay for oxygen if you develop certain diseases or undergo certain procedures in a hospital. Welders pay for oxygen, as do many manufacturing plants.
Packing tape? Some kinda red shit? This guy is an amateur.
Duct tape is much more durable. Besides, Prior Art doesn't mean anything anymore. If you can get it patented, you're 95% there. And they'll patent anything.
I've got a workstation running XP on a PII/233 w/128MB (all it does is log a device) and it's doing great. I can even browse the internet and it does ok. I wouldn't try to convert video formats on it or run Solidworks, but for what it needs to do it does just fine.
Minimum requirements should be just that. Not everyone needs to play oblivion on every computer they touch.
I put a note on my credit with all 3 bureaus stating that I was a victim of identity fraud, and to verify everything with my listed phone number or address before granting credit. I got a new bank account, credit cards, etc. I spent hours every month going over my credit report and contacting creditors/monitoring agencies until everything was straightened out. Now I'm worried that the whole thing could happen again, since obviously someone out there had the info and AFAIK was never caught.
Even though this was 8 years ago, I still get the occasional reminder. Earlier this year I started getting calls from a creditor regarding Qwest wireless accounts, which I've already "straightened out" numerous times. Oh well. At least I can't declare bankruptcy easily anymore thanks to our vigilant legislature. Maybe they'll have time now to protect consumers.
Damn, I'm going to patent a caseless computer with hard drives hanging out of it and a power supply that only fits at a jaunty angle. The ratsnest behind it costs extra! (pile of papers covered with coffee rings - free with purchase)
I turned off my ringer before they turned off my phone. Most of my calls attempting to straighten things out were from work, but it was still inconvenient.
The thing that made me most angry was the pure crap they bought. 8 cellphones? $500 at hot topic?
Out of that $15 about $1 makes it to Guatemalan drug lords, of which $.05 makes it to hard-working low-level Guatemalan farmers, mules, etc. Those people are poor! To them, that nickel is a rich harvest. A whole month's pay. They can feed their family for days on that nickel.
Prescription drug abuse has been cracked down on very hard. Jail time. Sting operations. It's getting hard to get my damn pills!
Alcohol?!? They're constantly busting bars/stores for underage. Drunk driving without hurting anyone is punished more severely than killing somebody while distracted.
Tobacco?!? They're banning smoking, taxing the crap out of cigarettes, hunting down people for evading said taxes, constant lawsuits against tobacco companies.
They're coming after all our vices. Why are you egging them on?
Speaking as someone who has suffered from fraud, you are wrong.
One day I woke up and started getting hundreds of collection calls. All my credit cards were deactivated. My bank account was frozen. Phone turned off.
I literally could not use my identity. It was like a DOS attack. I couldn't perform any financial transactions, it was a complete nightmare.
For years it was impossible to get credit.
I wish someone had infringed my identity, leaving me with my original one completely intact. But no...
I haven't bothered to figure it out yet, but they sometimes work, often don't.
I've never seen the first one I use work.
I'd like to hear anyone's explanation of this. Oddly, they're all working this time except the first one.

Metropolis is public domain. It's sad nothing new is entering public domain anymore.

The last time I rented a big vehicle there was a no-towing clause.
That didn't stop me from installing a receiver and towing anyway, then removing everything but the holes in the frame when I was done.
Do you know of any rental companies that allow towing?
It's quite refreshing to see a dreamhost link without the referral bs.

My sky is grey. My water is frozen. Smoking can help people with Parkinson's.
Your weather may differ.

Help the poor! Buy movie tickets!

I don't have a ton of faith in Big Pharmaceuticals not to lobby for patent extention when there are trillions on the line.
I'd say it isn't a bad idea to think about things like this.

What do you people want?!
But I won't. Now that I've proved it is possible, there is no need to do it.

Oddly, rectal-in-her porn is about the 4th most popular category.
According to this article, it may even contain an antidote to liver damage caused by the solvent.
I prefer Galaga. Partly because if it has fast shoot I can play till it crashes.
