I have no problem with Apple doing this to make a cool effect. I wonder if it will be the same in iPhone 2.1

There are a ton of people from europe over at the PSP Hacks forums. It's not like these units are being stolen and sold, Sony is still making their money. They should chill out.
This fight has been discussed tons over at PSP Hacks in their forums. They are obviously biased to the PSP but some good points have been made.
